Do NOT listen to what she is saying. This video is completely wrong. The food they are feeding is DEADLY to hedgehogs and has NO nutritional value! Salt and Pepper isn't even a colour! That is a colour that ignorant fucks use when they don't know anything about hedgehogs. Palomino? It's PINTO.

This is horrible. You are completely wrong about their care.

1. The cage has to be a minimum of 2'x3', this the bare minimum.

2. The wheel is so they don't get obese.

3. The wheel must be 100% solid. No mesh, wire or silent spinner, or crossbars.

4. NO hedgehog food.

5. Only high quality cat food.

6. No by-products, corn, wheat, raisins, nuts, pork, beef, artificial colours.

7. SPIKES DELIGHT IS THE WORST FOOD YOU CAN BUY!!!!!!!!!! It has NO nutritional value.

They are pretty hard to take care of actually. They poop alot so you must clean their cage EVERY DAY. You have to take them out and hold or play with them for lik 20 minutes a day. Everything for me was about $300 to $350.

@celtik916 yes , they will ... i have a pet hedgehog and 3 months ago a burglar snuck into my house ... luckily my pet hedgehog was out playing around .. and he shot him with his pins and I called the police and everything was ok! I was even in my local paper for the event!
