What do you mean by John Sinclair "was" an amazing man? He still is an amazing man. Alive and well and living in Amsterdam. Has a radio show called Radio Free Amsterdam , which is available on this very internet. Comes home to the States a couple of times a year , usually around Mardi Gras and N.O. Jazzfest , two of his favorite events.
When I introduced my nephew to him a couple of years ago , I told him "This guy is so cool , John Lennon wrote a song about him."
