  • hey man, what kind of indicators are you using? looks like they have the rotations numbered as well?? i have been lookin some that go past .400.

  • .......I have no idea that why u doing those ez thing with hard way...

  • Nice video , thanks for posting it.

  • Im planning on building an engine sometime soon, and someone locally charges 250 to degree the cams, i noticed the kit is around 300 what would your PERSONAL opinion be. Buy the kit and learn how to do this or take it to a professional. Keep in mind this is the first engine i have ever built.

  • I need one of those degree wheels. My question is does it matter if your engine is sitting level or can you do it like you did(a little to the side)?

  • I want to know in which lobe are you put the dial in the primari secundary or mid??

  • I want to know in which lobe are you put the dial in the primari secundary or mid??

  • where can i get this things for tuning..? in malaysia its hard to find.... becoz only the master, champion and the very rich people have this things....

plz help me..... cost plus shipping to malaysia.....

  • hey

correct me if i am wrong

1-adjust TDC/0 on the degree wheel

2-Rotate the crankshaft and stop when the

pointer is pointing at the specified peak lift/center line

    position.

3-Loosen the cam gear bolts and rotate the

camshaft until the indicator is showing that the cam is at

peak lift. Tighten the cam gear bolts.

  • other way

    example:

    intake : 260/11.5@1mm

    opening : 30 BTEC

    closing : 50 ABDC

rotate the crankshaft to peak lift then rotate the camshaft tell the diall indicator reach 11.5 then test the duration (260) from 30 BTDC to 50 ABDC

  • thanks!

  • why do you have 3 dial indicators?

  • Theres an indicator for each camshaft and then the third one is for the piston to find exact TDC

  • just out of curiosity which kit are you using to do this?

  • @delainee06 I'm not certain but I think its the Xenocron kit.

  • Nice video man. We need more stuff like this so people can learn.

  • What stage cams are you Degreeing?

  • They are the Rocket M24X cams
