  • Lucky you...the White Album on white vinyl is FANTASTIC!!!!!!

  • nice video thanks for sharing

  • Brickfoot does a solid rendition of "...Me and My Monkey" Check it out , It's in my videos and feel free to comment!

  • i got this exept it didnt have the apple label it had the capitol label

  • Bass line kick ass!!!!!!

  • Oh lawd, this is one of my favorite songs. And I'm to young to have ever used a record player for anything, so thank you for this!

  • the needle coming off the record is such a sweet sound! It brings the excitement back of anxiously awaiting the next album! I still have my vinyl!

  • A family member worked at Capitol so the copies he gave us had either punches or cut corners :(

  • The white vinyl was also put in America i think. I have a sealed one but it has a hole punch in it.

  • @RMGangsta what monster would punch a whole in such an awesome item? D:

  • You have an awesome record player

  • im jealous how much did you pay for the record

  • @spaceshig I believe I paid $20 or something close to that for this white vinyl White Album -- this was in 1978 (10th anniversary of the album) and adjusting for inflation, it would be as if I paid $66 today.

  • amazing, nothing else!

  • the beatles were such geniuses that you could've sold tours into their brains.

  • The most futuristic labum of The Beatles. It showed coming of punk rock (Everybody's Got Something to Hide Except Me and My Monkey ), glam rock (Birthday), indie rock (Glass Onion), prog rock (Piggies), brit pop (Bungalow Bill) heavy metal (Helter`Skelter), post rock (Rev no 9) etc.

  • @marguslagle They did foretell the future of rock & roll with the White Album -- and certainly, of their solo careers. If you programmed just the Lennon songs, or just the McCartney songs (include Revolution for John, and Hey Jude for Paul) as two separate albums, they could both pass for what would be their first solo albums -- try it and see.

  • @marguslagle you got it! like picasso with all his different art periods, but the beatles did it simultaneously. don't forget folk--blackbird and mother nature's son. and harrison's long long long- indescribable. maybe a psalm like david

  • Looks so strange... a white phonograph

  • There are 2 monkies that have something to hide

  • my dad has an unopened white vinyl of this

  • Greatest album ever! Fantastic song!!!! AND whoa, I'm a Beatles dork and never new it was pressed in white.

  • hide?John Lennon?NaHaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

  • this is a treasure

  • Needs more cowbell !

  • esta excelente que envidia !1jejej excelente mdelo

  • I've got a copy of this with the white vinyl but it says manufactured in the US.

  • Whoa !!!

  • I got the American white capitol pressing as a gift. Sound quality doesnt seem to be as great as this, but i'm just happy to have such a good looking copy.

  • Is that french edition vinyl?

  • @DoNotObey1 "Yes it Is" the French edition

  • @rjciccone I love doing that in the middle of conversations..I will be talking and I will stop and say Beatles Reference then keep talking haha

  • Looks like it is French or German edition....

  • I bought this back '78 the same French import. Always thought it made so much sense and the Beatles should of thought of this back in '68.

  • @Gary7Gann DUDE,what the hell is your CRAZY ASS TALKING ABOUT.! happy because someone blew him away in front of his wife!!!!! There is a thing called karma. You wish that on someone and it might come back to your STUPID ASS!

  • lol johns monkey

  • An amazing song from an amazing album!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, love it!!!, come on come on come on come on come on come on

  • anyone seen my monkey ?damn things hiding again

  • Lennon at his best! Can't help but love this rocker..C'mon is such a joy!

  • That vinyl is beautiful.

  • I like the white vinyl. I've only seen a couple of them in my life. The original White Album sleeve was all white with the "White Album" lettering actually pressed into the cardboard. The future pressings merely had it printed on the sleeve.

  • I've got this record, but it's black vinyl on Capitol Records.

  • This is so cool it can't get much cooler than this. LOL Seriously, the song is so bad ass and the records is, well, so COOL.

  • @rcraig37854 No, the original 1968 vinyl pressings were indeed normal black vinyl

  • i have that white vinyl too!

  • i have that white vinyl!

  • So remember now, don't hide your Monkey, folks (LOL)!

  • @ObaNarayanShivaji999 In Johns words of the song. It was about him and Yoko. YOKO IS THE MONKEY!!!! HAHAHAHAAHAHAH!!! It's true. Many people called Yoko a monkey for her physical appearance. So John took hold of that for a song.... MONKEYS.

  • @csomo580

    ROFLMAOff-da-planet, Sun!

  • I love that white record. I have the white album and I wish the record was in white buts its in black.

    great tune

  • @Z0S07657 There was never any 180 gram Beatles White Album (far as I know), and if you want to get a "White White Album", there were pressings in 1978 (this French one, and an American one on Capitol) and a 1985 German pressing as well.

  • white vinyl looks sexy

  • The White Album on white vinyl that is awesome. My grandfather has some Elvis albums on blue and red vinyl, but white, now that is cool.

  • As I said before ... they don't call it the "White Album" for nothing! Whether white vinyl or regular black, it's still something a fan should have on LP

  • You are so right.

  • @rjciccone Just got a replacement needle and the white album on vinyl last weekend. It's sweet.

  • I have the "White Album" on a regular vinyl and it was a Capitol reissue from the early 80's with a 60's style Capitol color border design (circa 1982-87). I will play that on my GE Wildcat soon with more songs from the "White Album".

I've never seen a white vinyl on a "White Album", pretty rare.

  • I have one it was given to me as a birthday gift years ago. I can still play it on a turntable.

  • nothing beats the MFSL isssues on japanese virgin vinyl!

    NOTHING!

  • I bet you are right about that -- I just got the Beatles stereo box, and copy of the mono box that just came out - both sound great (better than the older CDs) ... but Mobile Fidelity Japanese virgin vinyl would be amazing - do you have Beatles or other artists in that format?

  • yes. the complete beatles mfsl box set.

    bowie - ziggy sturdust

lennon - mind games, imagine, plastic ono band

    getz/gilberto - same

king crimson - in the court of the crimson king

    ...

you never heard them until you heard them on mfsl.

  • I have MFSL vinyls of Pink Floyd 'DSotMoon' and Al Stewart 'Year of the Cat' - American, not Japanese -- your complete Beatles MFSL box must be a prized possession.

  • I take nothing from the KILLER remasters that were just issued on CD-Marvelous(And I've got most of 'em so far)! But Apple/Capitol/EMI would be FOOLS not to someday bring out premium 180gram vinyl re-issues of The Beatles' album stereo AND mono catalog(incl. Past masters, too) W/Faithful label and insert re-creations for all-AND WHIT VINYL On the white album. Surely no on would disagree with that:-) And oh, keep up the killer work on the vids! LOVE 'EM, RJ:-)

  • Yes the re-mastered Beatles CDs are great -- got the stereo box and a friend gave me copies of the mono ones -- must hear the monos to experience the difference. Once the "09-09-09" frenzy of CD remasters and RockBand simmers, I think as you do that EMI will put out 180g vinyl remastered Beatles LPs (UK albums) as they did with the Band, Beach Boys, McCartney & Wings, and Lennon titles. It is a matter of time -- until then "you have the records if you want to reminisce"!

  • this songis very cool

    i'm spanish,and i'm 11,so,sorry if I write something bad

    BEATLES,,,FOREVER!!

  • @thebeatles161 Hey, boy! I´m brazilian, age 27, and listening Beatles since i´m 4.

Keep in this way! Some suggestions: chuck berry, muddy waters, cream, byrds, led zeppelin, Jethro Tull, The Who, Beatles solo stuff, for sure.

When I was 11 the only way to know other bands was walking away in the town looking for some CDs. Hope you enjoy.

Unfortunately I born in 80's. Wish I were there.

  • @kliousoff nahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhnot johnlennon

  • :D PRETTY!

  • Omg white vinyl. That is sexy shit :D

  • it is a French pressing ... oh la la

  • @blu3j4yw4y agreed :]

  • Beautiful copy of the White Album on white vinyl! I've been waiting to see this on Apple white vinyl. I've seen it on Capitol white vinyl though. Nice vid, nice song. BTW I subbed!

  • my fav song of white album

  • This record is almost as cool as Monty Python's three sided record.

  • I wish i was alive when this band was together. I love the beatles, my father gave me all of his beatles albums and his turntable I play them all the time.

    I love this song

  • your dad did you a big solid -- nice to pass down the fab vinyl collection!

  • yeah all of his albums are 1st issues, he doesn't have time to listen to them anymore so i went to his house and picked them up. Do you have any suggestions how I should store my lp's?

any help would be greatly appreciated

    -thanks

  • make sure you always keep the LPs stored vertically - shelves, crates, etc never keep them stacked in a pile. If you can, invest in some good quality LP sleeve protectors - they are better than the usual paper ones that came with the records.

  • they don't call it "the White Album" for nothing!

  • great song, great white vinyl
