Wow! I'm getting this for Christmas, the brushed metal version. I'm glad I chose this over the Ultra HD. The quality is beautiful and doesn't need improving. Mino looks so much better then the ultra.

is this 'uncompressed' setting on the camera itself? i'd like to know what codec/format it actually records in. i'm a video editor by trade so i'd prefer to export it completely raw and uncompressed so i can do the encoding myself. thanks for the info!

I used to have a sports car as well - it was an Opel Tigra - I dont know if you get those in the states but in Europe they are known.. I actually just bought a new car just now, a Toyota Corolla - pretty nice...

It is auto. I do a lot of in town driving so thats why I bought an automatic. Manual is a lot of fun though :P

Other camcorders have better zoom capabilities than the Flip, but really you can beat the Flip when it comes to quality for the size.
