2 tips: 1. Get a tripod. 2. I can tell your camera is a newer light weight camera.. attach a brick to it to steady it.. That was the good thing about the old monsters called video cameras back in the day.. the weighed so much, they forced your hand to stay steady.
cowboys and cards with no guns? although i guess fake/real guns are hard to come by on a budget. a fight at least though. gotta have some kindof action/conclusion besides a turn of luck in cards. "A" for effort though, good show.
smoke in the air...let it play and flow. cheap shmeap yer perspective is admirable. what is wrong is that it's too pure. lighting was there but the characters are as purty as a primtime show.... it's gambling. show excess in those ways beyond. fat, smoky air. gleam of the ring... distrust in the eye. dirt.... life as it is.

Never only a school project, you can not rush art and I know I rushed and fell on my Piggy Face! Cameras are never shit the carpentar should not blame the tools etc etc.Good track, but you should rely more on your creative instincts and no amount of money can replace that!

you had some great ideas here. The video works well with the song, what with the whole cowboy bit and the poker. You also had some great images going for you with great lighting, but i have to agree with that second guy, the handycam-ness kind of puts a damper on the whole thing.

This song sounds a lot like "Ghost on a highway" by Mazzy Star. In fact many of the Black Angels' music sounds like it was influenced by Mazzy Star.
