  • Try starting with 10min and increase to suit your personal needs

  • This retard deepak never meditated in hi slife except for making money...

  • Capitalism is the wage slavery of immense humanity in a politically corrupt, manipulated MARKET SYSTEM OF ARTIFICIAL SCARCITY ,a tyrannical, destructive system to perpetuate poverty and exploitation in the interest of the ruling class. Capitalism from its genocide of the native Americans, mercantile plundering and enslavement of African natives to its Millitaristic rise of European Powers to World wars and Financial serfdom of the world has been a DISASTEROUS imposition .

  • I mean no disrespect but Deepak is too handsome for this video. Hard to consentrate on content. (smile)

  • He says that meditation is simply learning to let go, and be in the present moment...so then, is there any difference between sleep and meditation? when I go to sleep, I simply let go of my thoughts and enter a dream state. so is there any difference? is sleep just not a deeper form of meditation than waking-state meditation?

  • I've heard something called Silva Method is very good class

  • i try to meditate for 20-30 minutes as Deepak instructs but i cant sit still for more than 10 mintutes. My inner thoughts race a million miles per hour. Im still trying though. : )

  • look up oshos dynamic meditation its geared for the contemporary public who naturally have a abnormally high thought rate, it first lets you get all your energy and stress out before you begin to meditate

  • @rollinghills22 your not supposed to TRY...that goes against meditation

  • keep trying and it will work eventually

  • @rollinghills22 Hey keep trying you'll get better and better I promise its the same as working out you build stamina to clear your mind, I promise you won't regret it

  • @rollinghills22 continue bringing your awareness back to your object of meditation...its part of the process, sooner or later effortlessly you will be in meditation. Peace

  • @rollinghills22 ur gunna make it!! its a 100% GARUNTEE!!

  • @rollinghills22 keep doing it every day and you will start stop thinking naturally

  • @rollinghills22 this obstacle is a million times less intimidating than it appears when your mind is racing :)

  • @rollinghills22

Hi, so 1 year on are you meditating still? Are you able now to calm your thoughts or do they still race a million miles per hour???

  • @breedons1 I actually get my thoughts to calm down now, it took practice but its happening, but now im stuck with the dilema, "Ok now my mind is clear and i have no thought, now what?"

  • @rollinghills22 Now nothing. The moment you try to do anything, you are not meditating. Just let go of any effort to do anything and simply be. If thought arises, witness it but as something external to your quiet still self. The longer and more consistently you can sustain effortlessness the deeper you will go into your meditation. Peace :)

  • @rollinghills22 as long as you acknowledge the thought while your meditating.

  • Another user uploaded the same video. It's confusing how the videos are titled.

  • your an idiot , and anyone has the right to do anything we want....we are all created equal

  • "Who Am I?" Echoing the words of India's great sage Ramana Maharshi.

Truly answering, or rather experiencing the answer, being the answer to this question will purfy all of our egoic tendencies: our thoughts and feelings of separation.

Truly meditate, as Deepak describes it in this video 1.1, and experiece the Truth of who we all are.

What could be simplier than being our Self?
