  • what is the name of this piece? i have wanted to know for a long time

  • when DDR on expert isn't hard enough...

  • fucking transylvania.

  • that fellow who started clapping should be shot

  • STOP CLAPPING

  • please .... what is the name of this music ..?

(s'il vous plait ..... quel est le nom de cette musique .?)

  • @johndjinejo @Singingangel473 Tocatta and Fugue in D minor, usually attributed to Bach (though the actual composer is a matter of debate)

  • @Scheater5 thank you

    (merci)

  • haha :D thats cool :D :) like it :)

  • What does DDR mean?

  • @Laudan08 Dance Dance Revolution. Its a video game.

    en*DOT*wikipedia*DOT*com*SLASH*Dance_Dance_Revolution

Just replace *DOT* with . and *SLASH* with /

    Posting restrictons.

  • It is perfekt :DDD

  • Whoa, I'm blown away...

I love the way this is performed!!!

Now that makes me want a giant piano in my living room!

  • ¡¡¡Que maravilla!!!

  • this makes ddr look like shit

  • I cringed a little when someone tried starting a "clap to the rhythm" deal. XD

    This is pretty awesome though.

  • @darken27 So what if they're clapping? They're showing how much they enjoy the performance in their own way. Don't bitch about it and enjoy.

  • @Gunner193 I wasn't remarking on the playing. Just the failed attempt at starting a clap-along. listen at about 1:01, and tell me you don't agree.

Playing was great. Clap-along that lasted about 10 seconds, not so much.

  • @darken27 I went there, I heard it again, and I don't agree. In fat, I don't mind it in the slightest, I appreciate how the spectator is showing that he/she likes it.

  • @Gunner193 I wouldn't mind if it had been a successful attempt. Instead, it's the one weird guy who thinks he can start an applause, and two or three people join in out of pity, and it dies out in a really awkward manner. Then there's feelsbadman.jpg.

  • @darken27 Hmm, that clarifies things. I thought you were disapproving of the very ACT of clapping. In this case, yeah, it doesn't sound good, but I didn't even hear the first time through - I caught it on a replay.

  • this is so cool, the best version of bach's toccatta and fugue in d minor

  • WOW! Killer!

  • those are ninja pianists loò

  • I want that in my house

  • @jurasick51 Good exercise and great enjoyment!!

  • WOW!! thats my dream to stay one time on such a piano =)

  • Being able to see this in RL (not through a video) must be much more impressive. I hope someday I can see this for myself.

  • hey good cardio work out hihi!!

  • Missed a note!

  • @thepat27 cmon man .. id ont see u up there ...

    missing notes ...

  • 2 girls, 1 giant piano.

  • (〃^∇^)o彡☆ Nice video

  • .....preparing for the Italian Night at "Sommer in Lesmona".

But this Bach version is nice to watch, too.

  • that was truely amazeing . and this is a great form of exercise , especially for all the world .

  • Poor Bach... :(

You had better to listen the original version with Ton Koopman. ;)

  • This is Toccata and Fugue by Bach

  • what song is this called

    I forgot?

  • @TOMOazn

tocatta and fugue in d minor

  • About the 22 second mark - the reason it looks like there is only one note being stepped on is that the black keys (half steps) don't light up, and there's a delay. I'm pretty sure the first of the two notes in question is played by the performer's left foot on the black key two from the end, and the ones before are further down.

  • WHAT SONG IS THIS?

  • Outstanding!

  • this beats DDR on so many levels. Maybe they'll make a game version of this xD

KONAMI! YOU KNOW YOU WANNA DO THAT xD

  • I love these.

And I get such a silly smile on my face.

  • there r way more slightly less apparent mistakes + its been rly simplified but still good

  • TIGHT!

  • 0:23, wow

  • at 0:22, i dont think anything is wrong, the sound is slightly delayed by about 1/5 of a sec. either only the piano has lag or the whole video is out of sync

  • wow.

  • Well done!

  • Awesome!

  • totally right about the 22 second mark. boo hiss. woulda been cool...

  • Hey my teacher showed me this in class a couple months ago!!

Of course that must take some serious talent - Bach is hard enough on the regular piano but on a floor piano? The epicality of this is over 9,000!

  • Very cool :)

  • It's quite obvious that something strange is going on here. When they start out it looks like the keyboard's octaves are tuned the same. Because they are dancing the same phrase in different octaves but it sounds the same. But then he dances up the keyboard and it sounds like it goes into standard tuning. I do believe they are playing/dancing this piece, but there is something strange going on off camera to account for these discrepancies.

  • Great!! Hey, do you know the Pop-Duo

    FACE OF VISION

    (at myspace!)

  • ¿como se llama esta sintonia?

    wha is the song?

  • @13gotico13

    (Movimiento de la Fuga)

de La Toccatta y Fuga en D Menor, por J.S. Bach

  • whats the name of te song is excelent

  • @roronoakratos

Fugue Movement from Toccatta and Fugue in D Minor by J. S. Bach

  • To all the naysayers, they are indeed playing the keyboard with their feet in this video. (Listen for the occasion bum notes.) The piece has also been arranged in such a way that a full 88 keys are not needed.

  • wow:)

  • I love it" :D

  • enough with those notes BS!!! it's a fun to watch thing and u guys r ruining it!! chillax ! breath!

man u guys dont know how to enjoy life dang..

  • i think there's just a problem because the audio doesn't always perfectly match the video but that doesn't mean that the dancers are faking in the video. Technical errors like that are common on clips when video has fast movement.

  • Yes, SUPER....

  • Yes, they danced very nicely. But they are not playing the notes. Their feet sometimes move down the keyboard when the notes are going up, and vice versa. And, if someone behind the scenes is manipulating what the keys do, that proves they are definitely only dancing to the music, not playing it.

  • Can you point us to a particular time where the steps don't match the notes?

  • Get over yourself. The keyboard is set to identical octaves instead of playing in expected octaves. They are indeed playing the notes.

  • I thought I saw this too, but watched a second time and the going up while he was moving down is because the "going up was done by the other player, further away from the camera. I am an organist, and they were playing this.

  • Very nice....but they're not playing the notes. Their steps don't match with the notes going up or down. Like the guy with the rubber balls on Leno.

  • are you fucking stupid? they are playing, they have their own youtube account faggot.

  • You are obviously one of those young, immature, exceedingly rude jerks who believe everything they see on the net. It doesn't matter how many accounts or web sites they have, they are NOT playing the notes. Their foot movements don't always match the notes going up and down. And when the one guy answers the other near the end, the notes are the same, but they are playing different keys. If your brain was as fast as your filthy mouth, you might be able to follow it better.

  • They most certainly are playing the notes. The proof is in the fact that there are missed notes later in the video. If the performers were faking the video, why would they put wrong notes in? And they are playing different keys but being in harmony because of overtone series later in the video.

  • They are dancing to pre-recorded music. Sometimes their foot movements match the notes going up and down, but many times they don't. e.g.: a footstep goes down the keyboard, but the actual note being played goes up. And in the 'harmony' segment you refer to, the guy higher up on the keyboard dances to 4 or 5 notes, then the other guy answers him (dances the same phrase) lower down the keyboard. If he was actually 'playing' the keys, his notes would be an octave lower, but they're not.

  • OK, gr[u]mpy1741, try this: Count the keys of the keyboard. Are there 88 keys? Could it be possible the notes played by the keys of the keyboard changes as the song progresses, to accommodate the full range of notes needed to perform the song? The level of showmanship might also require some behind-the scenes adjustment of which keys play which notes. I see no reason to doubt when there are such reasonable possible explanations for the perceived discrepancies. The performers danced well.

  • So much cooler than watching some loser play DDR

  • They're off tempo...

  • Lighten up, Gift. You could do no better with your clodhoppers!

  • Ha!

I played Bach's "Gigue" Fugue, BWV 577, wearing clodhoppers. (See E. Power Biggs organ on YouTube to hear a wonderful performance.)

Just happened to walk into an Allen Organ store after cleaning a nearby chimney.

They made me wash my hands, first.

  • Too many incorrect notes.

The left guy should have stood on the low D and helped with the dramatic C# chord.

    Oh well.

    Still fun.

Now I must go play the whole thing to get this out of my mind.

  • SUPER...

    rien a ajouter

  • This is just so amazingly done, I've watched it four times and it makes me very happy! What a lot of practice this must have required. Great musicianship!! Woo hoo!!! :)

  • what is the name of this great song ? :D

  • It's J.S. Bach's Toccata & Fugue in d minor for organ. :)

  • @MrXSimpson

Fugue Movement from Bach's Toccatta and Fugue in D Minor

  • Absolutely Magnificent. I have to know more about these two boys.

Does anyone know how I can find out all about them and maybe even write them?

  • I think they look like two girls rather than 2 boys.

  • I think that it is a boy and a girl. The boy reminds me a lot of Danny from the show Hell's Kitchen.

  • Woooow!

  • looked fun.

    :3

  • Now this is a CLASSIC ACT. BRAVO!

  • No Sweat... well maybe just a little. That was well done & looked like a lot of fun.
