But for transformers of the size of Unicron and Primus transformation is alot slower (they are the size of freaking planets) but due to their size and durability attacking them during transformation is no better than when they are in any other form

G1 was also full of really stupid shit but everyone conveniently ignores that in favor of remembering only the "fun" parts. G1 is and always will be the best but I recognize the others as well. Hell I loved beast wars and Prime isn't that bad (that girl works my fucking nerves) and Animated got REALLY good towards it's last few seasons.

@ZKoftherebellion looks like one did not watch Season 3 (or looked at his real origin his comic origin) his essence survived, the matrix failed to kill his essence dispite his phsyical body was destroyed leaving a dameged head. what we see as unicron is just a shell in the legacy of Unicron he explains his origins and he (and Primus) are kinda like Galactus in th sense they look like realy big people in armor (except we just see Big G like that) Even Primus couldent kill Unicron.
