I agree, tech won the game. You can say this or that about lucky and fluke but the fact is that "flukes" happen all the time in college sports, maybe their not that unlikely after all. I think UT probably would have lost in the title game but the same could be said about Tech. I'm almost glad that we lost at OU..... almost. If we had won there we would have played in the title game and more than likely would have fared worse than they did. But all the same go Red Raiders!

i have heard all the arguments. I am from Lubbock, but was raised a Longhorn fan since birth. I am one of the rare people you find who like both UT and Tech. Tech won no if's and's or but's. Woulda coulda shoulda, they did. I am proud of Tech and disappointed in UT. They let a National Championship opportunity fall right outta their hands. I think Florida would have beaten them in the championship game but who knows.

Ok but for the score to still be that close, shows just how much harder TT had to play ha. Texas lost yea, but despite the numbers you are posting the score was still close so we both know who is the better team. It's just one game. Texas shouldve played for the national title. We lose to Texas Tech which was a GOOD team (a ranked team). Florida loses to OLE MISS(Not ranked, wtf?!). How is that even fair? How is that even justified?

@mearsfan41 but what happend is that OU destroyed tech the next week and when i say destroyed i mean dominated start to finish game was over before kick off and becuse we lost to them it made the loss look even worse eventho we beat OU head to head and on top of that OLE MISS beat them early in the year we lost later in the season it seems now and days u can lose early and still have a shot if u lose late ur screwed
