"Waltzing With Bears" was written by Eugene Podeny & Dale Marxen. The story originated from a Dr. Suess songbook in 1967. I only know all of this because I recorded it a couple of months ago, and I've been researching the Writers and Publisher to list in the credits of my CD.
My typo will haunt me till I die. Supposed to read "sung by" the two chaps mentioned... We've been singing it since the late sixties ourselves but we did not write it, just to clear that up. The video clip is not really about the music but more about the bears on the road, the song was just for background fun... Sorry if I've offended you in any way. I would like to hear your version of the song if you could, post a link here in the comment area. Good luck with your new CD...

I just checked the "About this video" section and I see that it does claim that it was written by us. Thanks for the heads up and it's been changed.

You wrote this in the late 90's? Funny, I have recording of it from the early 80s.
