4431prw", You know, most of this stuff is backyard tuner kinda thing. Taking the cam out and grinding a aggressive lobe on it to keep the inlet valve and/or exhaust valve's open longer helps a whole lot.

From there you could port your manifold with a dremmel tool to smooth it out, or port the carb, or use Av Gas 118 octane, racing oil, pod filter, stronger spark plug, multipoint sparkplug, It's endless really :)

To tell you the truth, I am souping up my old 1984 Ford LT8G riding mower. So far I have got it running, replaced the front tires, no deck, a horn, a custom exhaust, and I got me a custom shift knob. Its a crome skull! Need a name though. Anyone have any ideas?

Sounds like its a twin cyl engine you have there? Assuming it's blue and white, I would probably keep it like that as I think those colour go well. Black rims would look good.

I'm gonna do mine white and black with either blue or red accents. But first a chassis rebuild is in order.
