After focusing on these ladies for several days I can say I think Frida was lovelier, and I thought that in my younger days. But Agnetha is SO sexy it's downright amazing. No doubt about one thing, this group will never,ever be matched in terms of talent. The musical ability of the guys, the song writing, truly amazing, AND the soaring, beautiful vocal harmonies. Every few months or years I break away from my dance music and country and come backt to these songs. And they grab me every time!

Now when i was 7 I used to watch Agnetha in this dress and think "i'd like one like that - that's very nice". as it is. but when you're a boy, you tend to get a strange look from your mother when you ask for it!!! LOL
the songs from this time would be a perfect repertoire for them to do in a reunion!!! I just wished they would get back together....one time, that's all!!! People would go crazy to see and hear them again.

This is one of my favourite earlier Abba songs. Agnetha's voice is perfect here. Some say Frida was technically the better singer, but I always felt Aggy's was more beautiful. It had that kind of 'plaintive' quality that was perfect for Ballads like this, SOS and the 'Winner takes it all' , my god! which just made your heart break. Frida's best was 'Knowing me Knowing you', I also love 'When all is said and done". Abba forever!

It had that kind of 'plaintive' quality that was perfect for Ballads like this, SOS and the 'Winner takes it all' , my god! which just made your heart break. Frida's best was 'Knowing me Knowing you', I also love 'When all is said and done". Abba forever!

Agnetha is amazing...really...no singer nowdays have what she has...........a classic singer..........abba is one of the best and both Agnetha and Frida are amazingly good singers.

Is simple. Because Frida´s voice was not appropiate for this song ¿can you imagine this song in Frida´s voice?. She has mezzosoprano tone (ideal for songs like money money). Agnetha´s voice were richer in tones and more delicate. Both voices were beautiful, even though my favorite always will be ... Agnetha

I think in the future ABBA indeed will be higher ranked than Beatles, musically.
Of course noone can come close to the impact Elvis and Beatles had on the youth and the society of their respective times.
But musically, I think ABBA will earn even higher esteem. They may be the best band of the 20th Century.

It didn't occur to me until now that 'I've Been Waiting For You' sounds almost like a country song.
