Question: How do u charge ur beginging turbo so to the fill meter? When I start I race I do start off with a small turbo, but for some reason when I watch u do it the meter goes full out red and u get a bigger boost. How do u do that?

this is one of the easiest tracks to beat oxide on....if i can remember......i definitely know that tiny arena is by far the easiest i had like a half lap between me and oxide by the time i passed the finish line, cortex castle i found very hard and dingo canyon

I'm not trying to sound like a cocky guy who thinks he's better than everyone, but, I find oxide VERY easy to beat on ANY track. I especially use Pura or Penta (I own the NTSC version, so Penta doesn't have maxed out stats.)

I just finall beat all of Ntropy's ghosts so I might try Oxide ones. Pinstripe is my favorite racer and character too, I never lose with him, also he has the best quotes in the game.

To play as Oxide you need a GameShark. Don't listen to people who say that beating all his ghosts unlocks him. It doesn't. I beat all the ghosts (alll with pura :D) and I never got him.

umm you unlock penta penguin by putting in a special code not like a cheat code because the game creators actually put it the the code is:hold down L1+R1 and press down right triangle down left triangle up if you entered the code correctly you will hear a sound. make sure you punch in that code at the main menu, hope i helped.

But there are alot of wrong things there.

1. There is no proof that Penta was the penguin in CB3 dingodiles boss stage, or that Penta was the penguin on Crash Bash, Ive got a feeling its just a random penguin.

Oh and I think Penta is voiced by a girl, but i guess we girls are better at making cute animal noises ^_^ but yeh I cant find any solid information, so I will keep believing Penta is a female. :p

penta penguins stats are the same as oxides. i beat oxide on roos tubes with penta, a good tip for speed: keep doing bunny hops after going on a turbo pad :)

Mmm, PAL or NTSC? If it was PAL, I'd suggest you trying luck with Penta and its maxed out stats, but that's not the case with the NTSC version. Still, beating Oxide with an Accelerating character is great, it denotes skill (Oxide is a balanced character ala Crash, but here races VERY well).

You don't have to cheat to unlock Pinstripe. Just complete one of the gem cups (can't remember specifically which one) in adventure mode to unlock him and you can race with him in arcade, time trial etc.

I think you would even go faster if you'd hold that boost for a longer time.

I mean, after the 3rd power slide you always get a huge speed boost. It would be better if you kept that boost a little longer instead of starting to power slide again immediatly.

A: No. Maybe using a cheat device or if you're playing a ROM, but not a legit method. There's no push button code for him, such as one for Penta Penguin as a racer.
