I've watched very many of these shows now (thank you crepehanger47!) and I've come up with a list of my favourite women. Those who not only looked good but were charming, intelligent and funny too. Anyone like to share their own list?
1. Hedy Lamaar
2. Ava Gardner
3. Debbie Reynolds
4. Jeanne Crane (although I don't share her political outlook)
5. Eva Marie Saint
6. Lee Remick
7. Gene Tierney
I can think of far fewer of today's stars about whom I feel the same way. Grumpy old man??
I recently saw Debbie on "The Talk" and her many fashions she's collected. She looks pretty good for a 78-79 year old lady. Plus she's had a facelift.
@Jantv81 Saw her there too- and she's one of just a handful of celebrities who are still alive from this program. Having been a dancer I think kept her healthier longer than many of her friends.
Loved how Arlene managed to get a couple funny lines in amongst the chaos.
@CalumK1982 they simply don't exist because at one time there were people who simply just did 'movies' now days they are celebrities who do not just movies but tv, record music and become involved in drugs/alcohol.
OMG!!!!!!! I haven's laughed so much in months. I've been watching this over and over again. Never did I know Debbie was such a great impersonator. I bet Zsa Zsa was jealous ;) Luv DR!!!!!! :D
OMG!!!!!!!! II haven't laughed so much in months! She's so adorable! I didn't know she is such a great impersonator. I'm sure Zsa Zsa was very jealous ;) I luv her :D:D:D

Ooh, my goodness. It's been a long time since I've last seen this episode, and I forgot how incredibly hilarious it was ;D
"No sweetheart, that's wonderful, isn't she sweet to think that, darling? I think she's marvellous, oh mother would be so happy this year sweetheart, no it's not true, yes you're right darling"
@nerdflanders8710 nah. i've seen old liz when she was younger, and i have to say debbie was much cuter. who really knows how long they would have been married if not for eddie's wanting to help liz after the death of michael todd?
Not unlike Vicki Lawrence destroying the cast of "The Carol Burnett Show" with one unexpected punchline, I'd just like to say that even though it's Debbie's time in the spotlight with the panel, it is all beautifully anchored by the quick wit and punch of Ms. Arlene, with her wonderful retorts. She already knows who it is from the moment she references Belgium (where Debbie made 'The Singing Nun'), but she and Debbie keep the hilarity going. Thanks for this brilliant clip.
I think most of the panel knew her identity but were having entirely too much fun with her to end the game. She made a shambles of the panel in one of the funniest Mystery Guest appearances I've ever seen. Thanks for posting!
Such a funny girl! Though she might have used her 'Gabo' accent a lot, she's also great at doing all sorts of accent and imitations. Her Bette Davis is hillarious.
I saw it on a show from the 70's sometime on youtube. However I've been trying to find it again, but have had no success, I'm afraid. She was famous for her immitations and on that show she did Bette Davis, Katharine Hepburn and some others and she was phenomenal!
I love Debbie she always has the most fun with the panel!!! Doing accents and evading questions she is awesome!!! A close second would have the be Esther Williams!!!

I dunno, I found her kind of irritating not giving a direct answer. It's obvious Bennett knew who she was right away because on another occasion he mentioned that she used the same voice at parties. And she's been using that Hungarian accent routine for years. Time to get new material, girlie.

Absolutely brilliant performance from the lovely lady at filibustering the show and confusing the panel. :D

Debbie Reynold's so pretty and Eddie Fisher is a fool for leaving her and going to Elizabeth Taylor.
