The scariest thing about this site is that I am possibly looking at the brightest scientist in America, and seeing their perspective of Science in America.

The tail of the comet is facing away from the sun because the solar radiation/wind rips through it, melting and scathing it. also, no, it doesnt bounce off a 'barrier' of interstellar space. thats silly

Look at the solar wind! I think thats reeely scarey. Imagine the vicious power of the thing, especialy the size of it. I think its been estimated that it travels 4x the distance of pluto them bounces back off the barrier of interstellar space or something(?).

yeah i agree with YuToobHasAIDS; i was there on the set helping build the comet and i had to go get some string because gary had given the last of it to his brother. so it is fake yeah. my twin brother works for nasa and he said there is no sun.

totally fake. You can see the string holding up the comet and the CME is just smoke from a smoke bomb that was superimposed over the screen.
