i had them all...i had the 08 pmr whis and whisout ul frame and the gun was great the only miss was the air out of the backcap every shoot that iritates.the 09 rail is also a great great gun..i bought it and selled it after 8 cases because i made a good deal.the slg 09 ultralite is great but you have to do a little maintainance bevor she runs realy good.you must do good orings in..take another lube and clean the silencer.if you want you can polish the boltback then she has a much much lower kick

well the slg is better then the proto rail ... bc the slg is lighter and shoots jsut as fast and the slg has an hyper 3 reg and the rail dosnt basicly slg WINNS... but the new 09 rail is slightly better thin the 09UL slg just bc it comes with a 2 peice 14 in barrel

kids need to learn your facts, the first pmr shoots 30 bps, the board is the same speed as the slg. in face the pmr board has more settings too.

............. Ok first off the SLG shoots faster / just as fast as rail. It gets 1500 shots out of a 68ci/4500 psi airtank. its light its tight it feals much nicer in your hand and too top it off its not half plastic!!!!!!!!!!.

only the new 09 non ul slg will get actually 1500 shots on a 68/45 and the SLG will completely rip apart an tourney grade paint. the stock trigger sucks o own both i know your just a techpb fanboy who lives by whatever mike says thats why you like the SLG

I have a 08 SLG and I get close to 1300 to 1500 shots out of my 68 ci 4500 PSI tank Yes the trigger dose suck and thats why you take the spring out of it!.

SLG Advantages over PMR -Lighter -Smaller -Hype3 Regulator -Stronger Grip Frame -Easier Maintenance - Board (i believe pmr only has semi, nxl, and psp) PMR advantages over SLG -Not a Sear Tripper -Clamping feedneck lol thats all i can say I personally go with the slg, since i love the hyper3 reg, and its better in price Also i heard reports of many broken pmrs and several issues

The Barrel Thred = Cocker threds, like all Protos, and Dye Guns. The Reg(asa/airport) has the Hyper 4 threads.

I have played with a Rail and my SLG, and the SLG is got a lot more plus's: Super easy Bolt maintenance, doesnt blow air back in ur face.

Overall the Rail was a good gun, but was not better then the SLG.

I have have an SLG a RAIL and a PM8PMR and PM8 rape the SLG by a long shot.

SLG also has rollback issues where the bolt is too short and the ball rolls back in the breach and the eyes dont detect it.

PMRs dont have that issue. And whoever said that the PMR is all plastic and the ion has more metal part(i dont know if thats on this video) the entire ION body is platic lol

SLG is seriously only lighter by a margin that is similar to a nickel. The only metal part that the SLG has and the PMR doesnt is the back cap. PMR if better if you can afford, hands down

SLG, its does its job, i personally havent tried the pmr but i slg is light, not as heavy and has a hyper 3 regulator, unlike the pmr which has a hyper 3 regulator, if im right he says that the pmr has a slightly better built frame.

NO gun shoots farther than any other, if the velocity is 300fps. It's just physics man.

Well Yes and No, 300fps is just a measurement in velocity/Speed, But mods can be done to a gun to increase the balls Travelable distances. For instance- I have a Flatline Barrel on my A-5. That Does shoot a farther distance then my SLG and any other Speedball gun that I have came in contact with in my years of playing.

Yes you get an extra 100 feet in shot distance, but it is traveling so slow (due to the fact that the bernoulli effect is the only thing keeping it in the air) it won't break on anything. I can't even consider that barrel in the argument, because it works in theory; but on the field, it just doesn't work well at all. And they are inaccurate as hell.

i use the flatline and it depends on what bore paint you use mine is accurate as shit and its ALWAYS breaks ALWAYS.
