lol i tthink i remember this, there was a big big wind/rain storm that came threw from another state..me and my friend had garbage can lids and we where walking down my street, the wind was so strong that it blew them outa our hands haha,..then we chased them down the street like dumbasses and the damn things just wouldnt stop xD
I remember this one and there was another that hit in July that year down towards Junction City and New Lexington. it was crazy being outside in it. My truck took some heavy hail damage during both of these.
I remember driving down 5th avenue in Upper Arlington going home and seeing 3 trees fall. Then the next day on the way to work in Gahanna there was a huge tree that took out some graves right off of 62. Then, in Worthington their were streets blocked off for almost a week. Of course, Dublin got all the AEP people first. Haha. (Ohhhh Shit!) @ 2:06
My mom had me go outside and OPEN THE WINDOWS! I was in Jamestown and the siding from the pharmcy across my street flew about half a foot to my right and smashed into the wall of my apt.
I went outside during this wind storm. Branches were everywhere. Ever since that windstorm, Dayton OH has gotten windier. Back on Aug 19 or so, we got a nasty t-storm with extremely heavy rain, lots of lightning and high winds.
In Patalaska, we didn't get hit too hard, couple shingles off and some tree branches.
But at my grandfather's in Newark, a tree was there from since I can remember... It got uprooted... The power at the resturaunt we we're eating at got it's power knocked out a couple times... Got our meal free though! :-)
This was the strangest weather event in my whole (50 yr/old) life. The straight line winds were incredible. The roofers have been working full time eversince.
i was walking freddy, my dachshund, during this wind storm and witnessed my neighbor's grill blow through her fence while a piece of siding destroyed the windshield (ironic) of a pickup truck. sweet....
It was cool wind except for the 100 foot trees that got uprooted. I think the trees around here are too tall to take the winds. I guess now we know why Florida has small trees and no shade.
I don't know about you, but as a result of the windstorm, a big section of our fence got torn right off, and we needed a new roof. It's funny that you don't need to live on the coast to be affected by hurricanes.
Don't tell me to shut the fuck up, it is my page, you shut the fuck up and stay off my page if you don't like what I say. You raised a fine little man that likes to piss people off.
I am sorry your relatives had to be without power for 4 days. I hope they got it back on soon after that. I guess there were 3500 people in columbus yesterday still without power. We are considering getting a generator.
That was a fun day for cutting down trees to save your house with a hand saw sucked took 2+ hours to cut down one tree.

I've never seen anything like it in the 20 years I've lived there. It really makes you appreciate electric lights. darkness is so boring.

I'm glad you loved it and had soo much fun, You would have had a much different take on it if you had been in Texas where it made landfall.

@JonasSucks4Life Yeah, and it was that stupid hurricane A MILLION MILES AWAY that caused the stupid blackout for a whole week!
