Saved jobs means jobs that were expected to be lost, but weren't due to the stimulus. That rate of -750,000 jobs was predicted to continue without stimulus money. With stimulus, that rate reversed. The difference is the saved jobs. And how do we pay for stimulus? With tax revenue from a subsequently thriving economy, not an economy recovering from Depression part 2.
