@MrHeavymetal69 Many of the artists in this list are the most influential song writers and musicians ever, if it were not for these people then you wouldnt have your metal music as you know it today. Widen your taste in music and take a break from long haired tattooed posers and listen to some bands who have changed history and most of all, dont sing about death and blood.
Mine would be something like this (in no order) Neil Young- Borrowed Tune Jimi Hendrix- Little Wing Pink Floyd- Nobody Home Nirvana- Sliver Radiohead- Paranoid Android Bob Dylan- Anything off Blood on the Tracks The Who- Blue, Red, and Grey Led Zeppelin- Stairway to Heaven The Beatles- Eleanor Rigby or Blackbird Robert Johnson- Crossroads
Having lived through the some of my best years during the eighties - over twenty and under forty - lol - here is my list: (in no particular order - just one of my top ten from the 80s) - Games People Play - Alan Parsons Project Wonderful Life - Black Hearts - Marty Balin Wouldn't It Be Good - Nik Kershaw Edge of Seventeen - Stevie Nicks Save a Prayer - Duran Duran I want to Know What Love is - Foreigner Eternal Flame - Bangles Burnin' For You - BOC Ask the Lonely - Journey
While listening to your list I thought, hmm guess even though we both love 80s music, our other tastes are quite different... until I heard your number 2 and number 1 choice. The Beatles, my favorite band of all time. Favorite song is Rain because it is so rare and just sounds amazing. Toto Africa, in my opinion, is also one of the best 80s songs. The first song I remember singing as a child was "Uptown girl" by billy Joel...BTW, where are ELO, Tom Petty, U2, Coldplay, Green Day, etc? *grins*
1. tomorrow never knows - the beatles 2. she bangs the drums - the stone roses 3. stampede - ride 4. god only knows - the beach boys 5. Jeanne - The Smiths 6. In a lonely place - new order 7. herman loves pauline - super furry animals 8. Maybe the People Would Be the Times or Between Clark and Hilldale - love 9. Eighteen is over the hill - The West coast experimental band 10. Expectations - Belle and Sebastian 11. Heat wave - Martha & the Vandellas
You need to stop listening to the radio, and jesus, stop listening to shitty mainstream compilations they sell at walmart.
I'm sure you haven't heard any of the songs i'm about to list (or anyone leaving comments for that matter), but you should really at least check some of these songs out. (you could be saved... there is some glimmer of hope... some of the songs you picked weren't overly horrible... just the ok ones are way over played and over obvious).
@Y0UTUBEtheater ok for one u dnt like his pick of songs o well fuck off to b honest its his favorite songs most of them word good and some were ok in my opinion but thts it its my opinion so dnt go judging cause i hated most of the songs i just looked up tht u listed
Don't stop B- Journey, Great song! Love the piano intro in it and drums! Great vocal! Africa! Top!_You got a cool thing going here! Hope you keep on doing this!I I vote Layla(ERic C) as number one classic song! I like the Beatles too.
you puzzle the sh*t out of me. You are so sincere in the way you ramble off your top ten. but I'm left questioning your man hood. were your ball's a dowery to your wifes family for her hand in marriage.Or are these truly your top ten? I have to ask. You actually look like some one i'd hang out with. But your song choice's confuse me.

I can't decide on a real top 10. Here's 10 songs from one of my favorite bands, Thin Lizzy. Rules: only 1 song per album. Fuck that. I can tell from your top ten that all you like is fucking modern rock. Because you have ROCK N ROLL TRAIN!!! AHAHAHA. Black Ice is AC/DC's worst album. Shows how much you know loser, cuz your missing out try listening to some classic rock. Thats where the good stuff is.
your the biggest idiot i have ever seen in my life READ THE FUCKING TITLE MY 10 TOP SONGS OF ALL TIME so what i like modern rock unlike you like hannah montana or the johnas brothers dude fuck off get a life and guck your moms dick faggot ass queer
first go to spelling school and spell kick right secondly if i really see you id kick your ass thirdly stfu and thats my opinion i like modern rock you like modern pop so fuck off
dude, this is not suposed to be offensive, but your goatee looks like a poon duster. Shave that shit off and you would look way better man. Then, more girls would actually want you to dust their poons, and you could spend less time making "top 100" lists for random people who love you (but who have bigger poon fluffers on their chins).
10-living on a prayer-bon jovi 9-enjoy the silence-depeche mode 8-acdc-back in black 7-oasis-wonderwall 6-billy idol- rebel yell 5-blur- song2 4-offspring-hit that 3-smells like a teen spririt- nirvana 2-nothing else matters- metallica 1-november rain- guns and roses thats my top xD
people are correcting u but u was close enough...he say just a city boy born and raised in south detroit....nice top ten though...no micheal jackson though....i dk
Let me know what you think. 10. The Who- My Generation 9. John Lennon- Imagine 8. Rolling Stones- Angie 7. Smashing Pumpkins- 1979 6. Radiohead- Creep 5. Pearl Jam- Even Flow 4. Nirvana- All Apologies 3. Foo Fighters- Everlong 2. Bob Dylan- Like A Rolling Stone 1. Nirvana- Smells Like Teen Spirit Personally, my favorite song is Everlong but I had to put those two above it as the greatest of all time
Bring the wife back! The interaction between you two was awesome! I like your selection but much different than what I would choose. Probably something to do with being at a different age than you during the 80's.
Hey for #7 Dont Stop Believin'..... you said just a small town boy.... SHows how much u really know the song... its "just a small town girl" not "boy"....GENIUS
im looking for this song the lyrics go "i can feel you all by my side babyy!! chorus giving me the hunger giving me the bust baby!!" what is the name of this song????????
Why are so many of you being dicks? I could go to a gay bar and find less dicks than reading the comments of this vid...
1st off, let him have his preference in music. just because you think your wangsta ass is cool if you listen to lil wayne doesn't mean you get to bash his music.
2nd off why does it matter if he is fat? it doesn't change the quality or opinion in his music.

I love Table for Glasses, Don't Stop Believin' and Ben Folds! Not a big Blink 182 or Taking Back Sunday fan but nevertheless, great top 10!
Here's my top 10 right now, some cheesy picks but I think music is a personal thing! Anyways, here you go:
zebrafun7 3 years ago
dude, this is not suposed to be offensive, but your goatee looks like a poon duster. Shave that shit off and you would look way better man. Then, more girls would actually want you to dust their poons, and you could spend less time making "top 100" lists for random people who love you (but who have bigger poon fluffers on their chins).
With love and respect,
Boonie

Bring the wife back! The interaction between you two was awesome! I like your selection but much different than what I would choose. Probably something to do with being at a different age than you during the 80's.

3rd off do you fucks even have lives?
fireball4008 3 years ago 3
Nice top ten, not quite what I expected, was sure that something like stairway to heaven or a def leppard song was gonna be included.
Anyway, great job man! specially with the vh1 vids!
