Mine was used and didn't come with manual. what are the red green blue yellow buttons for? Most important where is the zoom button? watching event horizon will never be the same. I always zoom in on the ships log to see all the gross stuff. Also wizard of oz when the man hangs himself.

I'm having problems with the setup still. I have a PS3 version 3.10. I followed all of the directions (Settings--Accessory Settings--Register BD Remote Control--pressing start on controller and enter on remote at the same time) The problem is not the batteries that come with the remote because they work in other things; even fresh batteries make no difference. I sit and hold the buttons for five minutes and nothing happens at all...no lights, nothing....Can anyone offer any advice?

I once tried to use that remote as a controller to join my friends playing LBP. What a fail, couldn't move sideways so I just grabbed things and jumped in place. Duh. We did have busy time laughing tho.

I think that...if you have some new devices, from recognized brands...you can go for a logitech universal remote...rechargeable...as the harm 1....looks pretty nice....

No, it just replaces the PS3 controller and has some extra buttons which are also availabe with the on screen display of the PS3.

Yes. If you are watching movies quite often. It's much easier to navigate through menues and all the others setting like language, subs etc.

Yeah if you often watch BluRays it is definitely worth buying. Because you have much easier access to all these options. And you do not have the feeling you're using a PS3.
