Just to be clear, Prometa has NOT had an FDA approved doubleblind test done. They did have one nonFDA test done by someone who sold Prometa. That means, there is NO benefit to taking Prometa rather than gettting better on your own, or taking a sugarpill.
It's not difficult to do a double blind test, which is simply a valid way to figure out if a medical treatment is effective. The flimflam artist who started Prometa treatment is Terren Peizer, who was the righthand man of junkbond felon Michael Milken. The fact is that if you give a placebo(sugarpill) to someone, they will have the same probability of "getting well".

Sadly, no single form of treatment or therapy will work for every individual who participates in it. However, for her to say Prometa is bullshit goes beyond reality. Is she upset that the treatment didn't work for her, or is she angry because she could have spent the 15K on meth. Speaking for myself, I shot coke daily for 20 years. In May 2008 I was treated w/ Prometa. The next morning when I awoke the coke cravings magically disappeared. It's been 30 months and I've never looked back.

On all of the people that went into this location, these addicts(meth, coke, and alcohol) did the prometa treatment which included therapy as well as the actual drug. At one year, they had an 86% 1 year sobriety rating with their clients. that is 6 out of every 7 people.
This is the way of the future. And i'm proud to be a part of it.
i see comments stating bad things about prometa, i was an IV meth user, this worked for me..it stopped the cravings, however i also started going to NA meeting immediatly,, and still go i have 16 months clean i love being clean and prometa had a big part in this. this alone will not work, but with your strong will and willingness to go to meetings, getting a sponsor, then yes this will work, what do you have to lose?????? just try it
well i had the great opportunity of recieving prometa in a research study, i was an iv meth user for 3 years.. i now have been clean for almost 16 mths.. it with out a doubt worked for me..i stick with all that comes with it like going to meetings. i have a sponser.. i work the steps..its not easy..but prometa took away the cravings.. it did...and then i did the rest.. i will continue to do so...my life is now filled with so much joy.. and i have self worth...

Me too, I go to meetings and am on my 4th step. The work has to be down by oneself, there is no miracle cure but prometa is the closest so far. I wish my sister would try it, she is a meth user and has been for the last 10 years but I cannot get her to give it a try. Any advice?

You are a liar, I know first hand it works and it works miracles, my cravings disappeared the first day, true it does not work for everybody but it is true and I work at a rehab now. We all know it is the biggest breakthough for meth and alcohol!!! Why are you ruining it for all the people who need help. Yeah a Dr. can buy the drugs but they are not allowed to administer it, why dont you do some research crazy lady! I have a Masters in Counseling psych. and have researched Prometa extensively!
the gov willnever approve a drug that works that way they couldnt lock every body up with this bullshit drug war there are probably many drugs that do help but they make millions of dollars locking up addicts and bringing drugs in with the cia so why would they want to help anyone drugs are a great scapegoat for all the problems please vote ron paul 08
i want to say that switching from one drug to another is just stupid you just get this shit and when your cured and not taking annymorr youl ether be adicted to meth again or this pro meta shit so kick it cold turkey or get your famly to lock you up in there house until you kick

its true I just had my Prometa 24 days ago and it never worked ,it is bullshit and i wish more people would realize that the courts are sucking up the tax payers money to give some organizations a fat wallet and using the meth population as a scapegoat

My experience was to try a drug called Solian-Amisulpride. After 1 year I was off meth and have been for 3 years now.
Diet, exercise and peer support helped too. All the best on your journey for a healthier life.
