In line with the International law, any ship/vessel or air carft under the national flag is considered as the territory of this nation. So the Israeli soldiers intruded the territory of Turkey by boarding the Turkish flotilla without the proper permission from the vessel's commanders. And as I understand it the soldiers attacked the vessel at night time . No wonder the turks started beating the hell out of the intruders in this case. Who wouldn't?

Israel by illegally stopping this aid effort in the international waters in such an amateur way that resulted in deaths and injuries of the humanitarian workers has been condemned in the conscience of international community. Israel is in an effort of misguiding the public opinion by mass disinformation tactics. these guys weren't minding their own business. They were running a military blockade. They were boarded to be searched and re-directed, in line with international law (San Remo Document, para's 67, 146).

If you come to any nation and try to ignore their military's directions you well get arrested.

These guys resisted very violently. Not only did they physically resist, they grabbed personal handguns and shot at soldiers, who at that point did not shoot them.

Piracy assumes a malicious and unwarned attempt to capture a vessel for profit. The Israelis contacted the flotilla for 4 hours to so the supplies could be transported legally. Most of the soldiers were armed with non-lethal paintball guns for crowd suppression. As you can clearly see in the videos, they ran into a violent mob. And victims? Hamas fires thousands of rockets at Israel, Israel gets fed up and finally defends itself. Hamas started it, Hamas comes off as a victim.

After I've seen some pictuers of the soldiers being hit (not what the IDF released) and bleeding, I'm very happy that they no longer in this world.
