The goodwills and fleamarkets that i browse they dont have too much gaming stuff...just a few games here and there...and i browse a LOT 20 places(garage sales included) or more everyweek. But thanks to that i was able to find some " video gaming treasures". Like a SNES mini boxed, 7 boxed NES including one game that was very rare, 2 like new sega saturn games and much more....its my hobby my passion...thanks videogame geek
@david44454 really? your calling him a fag or a pussy because he has cartoons on his band-aid well how many children do YOU have? how long have YOU been married? and how much crap have YOU had to go threw in your life?!
at 2:16, i love that model genesis. i think it is the best looking box and system of all time. mega drive (the JPN version) is a bit more polished i think.
@vintagevideogamegeek it was and yesterday i got swordquest earthworld grand prix haunted house adventure and starvoyager for 2 bucks each at the same market and im checking out a play n trade in buena park
my flea market has a model 1 sega cd (lower level cd deck) in box. they wanted 200!!!! It seams like yesterday i was begging my parents for the sega channel. Its sureal my flea market has the sega channel carts with the cable coaxe. That was the first online gaming experince. I love the old school. but the ps3 runnin in 1080p with 7.1 surround sound has me sold.
at the moment im living in Gibraltrar so im right next to Spain and i see a lot of old electronics in the mercadillios all over the place maybe you just have to look at the right one
I'm going on a huge community garage sale this weekend. I can only dream of finding such deals. As long as I get some Sega systems & Nintendo games I'll be satisfied.
I love going to thrift stores, flea markets, and pawn shops as well as checking out newspaper and online classifieds.
You never know what you find and there are a lot of great things you can find from people who sell this stuff for cheap.
My recent video game acquisitions: a working Sega Saturn for $4 and an almost complete copy of "Phantasy Star III" and complete copy of "Shining in the Darkness" for $3 each from an SPCA store (and the money goes towards helping out pets, a worthy cause).
I just bought my friends genesis for 18 dollars, its a model 2 with the cords and 5 games!, the games are: sonic the hedgehog 2, taz escape from mars, ristar, mrs pacman, pacman 2. I wanna get the rest of the genesis sonic games, mortal kombat 2 and 3, and a 32x
theres many addictions but for guy's like us its videogames i'll buy a system i already have ( as long as its a different model ) but realy geek 3 32x's, a couple genesisi ( more the 1 genesis lol ) a 2600,sgea cd and another gamecube wow am i missing anything?....... 2 more dreamcast's
Dude I'm reporting you to the local authorities because it's robbery how much you paid for these systems! LOL. In all seriousness nice pickups. I love the DC, and my bro told me that there is a hidden game inside it, yet I don't know if that's true or not. Also it take me forever to get my 32X to work. Congrats on getting a Sega CD. You now have to pick up Sonic CD.
Thats a nice haul you found there, I personally liked revenge of the fallen maybe its a cultural thing but most people who I know have seen it here in U.K. like it but I did find mudflap and skids really annoying.
Agreed. There was a big stink about that here in the US. I thought most were making a big deal out of nothing until I saw it. Then I thought it was a little overdone.
3 32X's?!? That's about 3 too many, but then again, there are a FEW good 32X games, like Virtua Racing Deluxe, Virtua Fighter, and good versions of NBA Jam: TE and Mortal Kombat II
Hey i want to get a dreamcast, so i went to a vintage game stora and they said 95 unboxed and 105 boxed? Any advice on where i can get a cheap DC I'm in vancouver!
2 Dollars... geez. 4 dollars. I like how the price increases by little but you still pick them up. Nice boxed gen, like the Sonic jumping art. Nice getting AV cord for the sega, I hate the rf switch. You can stone someone with your 32X collection. Good update.
geez, how did I miss this video in my subscriptions box? Your coleco must be getting jealous with all the love you're showing Sega lol. That boxed 32x and genesis for $40 is awesome, I would recommend Doom for 32x if you're a fan of that kind of game.
Another great video VintageGeek. I love seeing the things you buy and then explaining where you bought them and the prices at which you paid. Can't wait to see your next video. Did you say you'll be giving us a guided tour of your Games Room? If so, I'll be the first in line for that tour! How much will the entry fee be? lol
help i want to buy a dreamcast i went to this vintage game store and they said 105boxed 95 unboxed! I live in vancouuver! Any advice? A salvation army maybe?
Either there or Goodwill if you have them. Local places are good too. I pretty much went to every thrift store within 50 miles of my house to find this stuff. Lots of places had nothing, but once and awhile you get lucky.
I really want a sega cd, they don't come up that often, all I can say is that is a great collection of finds even though some are the same, PS I also tell my wife i'm gonna stop buying games for a while! lol (great vid)
WOW.. Awesome deals VintageGeek!! I'd be very happy to have that many systems at that kinda bargain prices! Looking forward to watch the tour video of your games room.. :)
Bit of a mistake, its a Star Wars game on the 32X, not Star Trek and to be honest, don't bother, it's rather boring and nothing like the original star wars arcade game, if you want to get Knuckles Chaotix, expect to pay out big bucks for it.
I myself have bought quite alot over the last couple of months and will make a vid within the week (Fingers crossed) as i actually have some time off work.
Got right down to business there. Dreamcast is my favorite disc based console. I have 6,lol. 4 regular ones and 2 sega sports consoles. Thanks for clearing the dora bandaid issue up,lol. kidding dude. it takes a real man to wear stuff like that. Same has happened to me. No worries. 5 stars.
To break down the 6 and how I acquired them....First one I bought new when it just came out on the market, second one same thing but a sports model,3rd 4th and 5th were a part of a 3 system lot with a number of games, the sixth I bought to have a backup in case the sports model would ever have issues plus its a bit less common to find in the wild.
That is a lot of pick ups! Good Job! I can't believe you got 3 32X. Good luck selling those out (unless you're keeping all 3). And good 32X games...good luck. Look forward to your game room video.
Hahaha yeah the "MN12BIRD Noah's ark thing" I would love to take credit for that one but I think I stole the idea from Atarix. The VCS looks good. My friend told me Transformers 2 sucks too. I liked the first one even if it was different from the original cartoon.
Great finds at great prices man. I usually get dicked for how much I pay for some of my stuff. Goodwills around here don't really have games, and there are no flea markets or Play and Trades or anything like that. That's what I get for living in the boondocks.
you picked up some nice stuff! Well the 32 x isn't really nice but you know its kool that you got all this, oh yeah and by the way don't be embarassed about the dora band aid, who doesn't love dora!!
You spent too much on that 32x, AVGN did a review of it and its horrible.
