Oh wow! I'm a Canadian but I grew up in Palmers Green back in the 90's. Did my GCSEs and A-Levels in Southgate and I lived at Grovelands Road. Looking at these photos brings back alot of old memories. Thank you so much for posting them up. This has made my day.
I miss the tree! It really took away some of the focus from the cluttered Triangle and its awful, broken information board. It left a serious void in the place.
Sad that it has gone at this time of year. Christmas lights used to be strung in its branches.
