I'm a woman and I'm red/green colorblind and so is my sister. Our father is even worse, not being able to tell a redlight from a green one. I wouldn't mind finding out just how bad my colorblindness is. As it is, amber and green are really indistinguishable when it's warning lights on equipment, etc. Playing games is hard too unless they have a colorblind option that does shapes for you on top of the colors.

Like a bunch of other colorblind people, I hate it when you say you are colorblind, yet people ask 'What color is this?' or 'Can you see this color?'.

I know they are just curious, but seriously... If they put themselves in our shoes and see that they get asked those questions everytime they reveal they're colorblind, they'd see just how irritating it is.

Thank you for making this video, two of my boys see the same way, but can still identify red and green although they don't actually "see" the colors I see. But shades of yellow or blue.

They are both artists its helpful to show this to their professors so they truly understand how they see.

I have been confirmed in the past as red/green colorblind. I can see the first two slides, and none of the rest (with the exception of the given squares). I actually can't even see the supposed five on the given slides. Accurate test, but the colorblind claim is a little vague.

You may not have spelled colour wrong, but you used the incorrect context of "you're" when saying "you are". This makes your argument null and void.  Color is spelled Color because of that.

Doesnt work the way you said. This pictures are from other tests, with much better descriptions. There are different types of colour blind. Im red-green partial colour blind. But only Red-Green colour blind people can see the 5 at the end. Thats the trick.
