I dig the quick and dirty explanation, and anyone wanting to bang out a quick minor blues scale will love this.. But maybe could you toss in just a hair of theory. Like maybe explain why it's an a-Minor Pentatonic, etc.

  • this bit is for lead guitar and they can be played whilst someone else is playing chords on the same scale... make sense?

  • what do u mean by same scale? i been playing for 6 years and am finally gonna try to learn the RIGHT way. i don't know scales/chords/pentatonic/anything like that. just picked up a guitar and learned songs by tabs for 6 years. any tips would really be appreciated

  • i like this and this is awesome for beginners!

  • nice job man easy and it doesnt sound bad either

  • On the A string, try using the 6th and 7th frets, and then on the G string, use the 7th fret as well - these are blues root notes - he's hitting them quite often just by bending.

  • it is a pentatonic major scale right?? ahaha pentatonic scale is for begginers like me,, weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

  • its a pentatonic minior scale.

  • not quite, second string should be on 8th fret for minor pentatonic

  • it 's a A minor pentatonic he is on the 8th fret.

  • I was soo clueless about what a scale was until i watched this!
