@rippomollytroy i think you might be mistaken here. there's something called different pronunciations of the lyrics, & almost every person who has sang this song has sung the lyrics in different ways, which means it'd be hard to tell which is really the right way. so who's to say your way isn't variation? 2nd, whoever is singing the song can make it a little different in order to make it their own. but it looks like you never told the (very good) chorus teachers at Lanier what's what. thanks:)

have to laugh at this... i had my music school choir do this song last year... you obviously arranged from the share the music series! so did i! the piano part is practically verbatim to what i arranged from the recording myself! though, the kids i worked with couldnt handle 2 part
