great video. I don't completely agree with you, but good analysis. I would point out the big difference between the Marquez the counter puncher and Mayweather the counter puncher. JMM moves BACK while he counters, which is what frustrated MP. FMJ doesn't use his feet much, but his insanely fast reflexes in his body and head. He plants his feet mostly. This to me, would be a key. PM throws way too many punches from odd angles. FMJ is going to have move his feet, not just his torso and head.
the fight couldn't make it happen because floyd doesn't want to gamble his face & step in the ring against pacman, floyd is really afraid to get hit with windmill of punches coming from pacman. Mayweather is too patient . He's not gonna chase any fighter and he's too smart defensivly to have angles confuse him. He'll play defense, look for openings and pick his shots and counter. Manny doesnt do well against someone with a good straight right hand and his defense is filled with holes. MAyweather is too accurate. I've seen every professional fight by both of these guys. Manny doesnt stand a chance. Mayweather 1by 0th round stoppage.

@MrRayg7603 Wrong! See Duran vs. Leonard #1. Had Pac vs. MW actually taken place 2-3 years ago while they were still in their prime, this would be an excellent comparison. Duran's style was VERY similar to pac's, constant motion and punching. He had excellent head and foot work like Pac. He was an even stronger puncher, a better body puncher, but didn't have Pac's hand speed. Leonard was VERY much like Mayweather at that stage of his career, he even had the shoulder rolls. Duran won - handily.

Nice! Although I would have to disagree with the winner of the fight. I'd go for Pacman. I think you overlooked some aspects like the fight stance, work-rate, durability and stamina. Pacquiao being a lefty, ridiculous work-rate and stamina, and iron chin will be the most crucial aspect in this fight. what a joke... what most people fail to see even up this time is that pacquiao has learned the art of evolving on the ring, and this is where his opponents fail to anticipate... people watch his fights and says pacquiao has this flaw, has this tendency to do this do that, has a hole in his armor, etc... but has anyone really found a way to counter him after all those fights? none. it's because pacquiao is evolving for every fight which is what most boxers can't match.

Pacquiao will win and I'll tell you why. Reason 1 he's a southpaw(left handed). Punches come from diffrent angles when you fight a southpaw. The mistake fighters make when they fight pacquiao is that they fight him like they would fight a right handed fight. They jab with there left and follow up with there right. That does'nt work with a southpaw. You're supposed to always lead with your right first following up with combos then circling to your left away from a southpaws power.
I wish you approve my comments. This is my prediction. If the fight takes place, my heart will be with Pacquio and my money with Mayweather. Pacquio is not that effective fighting an opponent with good technical boxing skills ie (JM Marquez). I (and many people) think Marquez won that second fight against Pacquio. After I saw Marquez vs Mayweather fight, I am convinced that Floyd's skills will outbox Pacquio’s. I think Mayweather will win by split decision, not a KO or TKO as you believe.

I think Floyd is more elusive near the ropes but Manny is better fighting in the center of the ring & moving side to side, back and forward. I think Manny has the edge here since he can hit you from multiple angles with speed and power. Floyd best chance is to use his jab all night long, move and get out of the ropes. He's going to frustrate Manny (and the audience) but he will get the points.

I think it's a mistake that Roach and Arum haven't let Pacquiao fight a counter puncher in so long, because I think it'll make all the difference. Marquez did great counter punching Manny. And Mayweather is a better Counter puncher then JMM. So it'll be interesting. I'm going to make a new video with step by step analysis.
@sidneycello cello lets not forget marquez had to take shots from manny in order to counterpunch because manny is so fast. i believe manny is faster then floyd but not by alot but indeed faster. manny can also hit in wierd angles mayweather cant this is due to manny's unorthodox style. manny has fast footwork that allows him to create angles. last thing is manny is not your average fighter who throws 3 to 4 combinations he throws 5 to 8 which i dont think floyd can avoid or block all of them.

@quaza145 Manny's combos are faster, but Floyds singles punching is faster. Manny tends to to be sloppy when windmilling forward. His footwork only looked good against his latest opponents who have been slow and not true boxers. The marquez fights both could have gone either way. We've seen some old school mayweather in attack mode in the mosley fight. Manny is the people's champ, but im litterally gonna bet money on mayweather.

@violentblack0ut I think you could make a case for it, only because Mayweather was fighting with one arm and was unable to do as much in the later rounds as he did in the first. I dont think Castillo was good enough to beat Floyd and he proved it in the 2nd fight. Floyd knew it was close enough though that he had to give him a rematch. But unless you hurt Floyd you can't beat him because you're not going to outbox him.

I think floyd at this point will have a hard time against pacquiao, Floyd is older than Manny, He's starting to get sluggish due to his added weight and age. The one thing that most people think about is that floyd is the smarter fighter than Pacquiao. I dont think thats true remember Pacquiao has more experience than Floyd. you were commenting on how floyd is gonna frustrate manny by dancing around the ring. Pacqiao showed in the Cotto fight he is willing to go to the center and force his opponent to engage. If he does that I see a potential turtle from Floyd and it could turn into another Pacqiao Clottey in worst case from Floyd. The big problem for Floyd is that he can't stay in close with Pacqiao and Pacqiao is likely going to force it.

Do you know what it's like to fight on the streets of the filipines (sp?)? No gloves getting HIT! That's where manny's heart comes from...gloves seem like pitter pat BS. Plus he's southpaw and this is the biggest riddle for PBF to solve. The angles he'll have to deal with he's only seen a couple times in his life, if at all. Good video bro, don't know how anybody can strongly disagree with what you have said in the breakdown. As for the prediction i suppose nobody really knows, as nobody knows what tactics are going to be used by either Pac or Floyd and how each will handle each others style and pressure. I think there is a better chance of 1 winning clearly and this fight not being so close.

Great video very interesting points. I am a massive Pac fan, he's a great fighter and is all heart, as much as I'd like to see him win no one can really deny that Floyd has almost supernatural abilites. He's speed, movement, pinpint accuracy and brain could be too much for Pacquiao. But every time Pac has to step up to face a challange he time and time again prooves himself, and that is what a true champion is. Could go either way on the night.

great video. I don't completely agree with you, but good analysis. I would point out the big difference between the Marquez the counter puncher and Mayweather the counter puncher. JMM moves BACK while he counters, which is what frustrated MP. FMJ doesn't use his feet much, but his insanely fast reflexes in his body and head. He plants his feet mostly. This to me, would be a key. PM throws way too many punches from odd angles. FMJ is going to have move his feet, not just his torso and head.

Mayweather is too patient . He's not gonna chase any fighter and he's too smart defensivly to have angles confuse him. He'll play defense, look for openings and pick his shots and counter. Manny doesnt do well against someone with a good straight right hand and his defense is filled with holes. MAyweather is too accurate. I've seen every professional fight by both of these guys. @MrRayg7603 Wrong! See Duran vs. Leonard #1. Had Pac vs. MW actually taken place 2-3 years ago while they were still in their prime, this would be an excellent comparison. Duran's style was VERY similar to pac's, constant motion and punching. He had excellent head and foot work like Pac. He was an even stronger puncher, a better body puncher, but didn't have Pac's hand speed. Leonard was VERY much like Mayweather at that stage of his career, he even had the shoulder rolls. Duran won - handily.

there is no way in the hell mayweather will knock pacquiao out. i just dont see that happening. to me pacquiao has more experience, for example getting hit a lot. manny gets hit and barely flinches, and he throws punches at weird angles, pacquiao TKO at 8 or 9th round. mosely caught mayweather with a good right hand, and he was holding for his life! if pacman does that hell finish him for sure.

Floyd will counter Pac and will make Pac pay for missing but Pac will eat them all and just continue banging on whatever Floyd gives...the body, the arms, the head...Pac does this as shown in the Clottey fight, he will beat him up and won't wait for the head to pop out...he'd go for whatever he knows he'd hit and his power will prove to be too much for Floyd. Nice! Although I would have to disagree with the winner of the fight. I'd go for Pacman. I think you overlooked some aspects like the fight stance, work-rate, durability and stamina. Pacquiao will win and I'll tell you why. Reason 1 he's a southpaw(left handed). Punches come from diffrent angles when you fight a southpaw. The mistake fighters make when they fight pacquiao is that they fight him like they would fight a right handed fight. They jab with there left and follow up with there right. That does'nt work with a southpaw. You're supposed to always lead with your right first following up with combos then circling to your left away from a southpaws power.

I wish you approve my comments. This is my prediction. If the fight takes place, my heart will be with Pacquio and my money with Mayweather. Pacquio is not that effective fighting an opponent with good technical boxing skills ie (JM Marquez). I (and many people) think Marquez won that second fight against Pacquio. After I saw Marquez vs Mayweather fight, I am convinced that Floyd's skills will outbox Pacquio’s. I think Mayweather will win by split decision, not a KO or TKO as you believe.

I think Floyd is more elusive near the ropes but Manny is better fighting in the center of the ring & moving side to side, back and forward. I think Manny has the edge here since he can hit you from multiple angles with speed and power. Floyd best chance is to use his jab all night long, move and get out of the ropes. He's going to frustrate Manny (and the audience) but he will get the points.

I think it's a mistake that Roach and Arum haven't let Pacquiao fight a counter puncher in so long, because I think it'll make all the difference. Marquez did great counter punching Manny. That's what's going to be Pacquiao's problem, its the same that Marquez had. His footwork only looked good against his latest opponents who have been slow and not true boxers. The marquez fights both could have gone either way. We've seen some old school mayweather in attack mode in the mosley fight. Manny is the people's champ, but im litterally gonna bet money on mayweather.

I dont think Castillo was good enough to beat Floyd and he proved it in the 2nd fight. Floyd knew it was close enough though that he had to give him a rematch. good fair video..... my opinion, its going to be a tough fight for both of them.
mayweather is the skilled fighter, pacquiao is a freak of nature.
i do think paquiao would win the fight....( if it ever happens) because it only takes one punch for paquiao, and mayweather seems to be avoiding this fight (maybe due to a fear of being beaten?)

pacman will throw the harder punches which mayweather will dojj 90% of them. however as rounds go by , mayweather will save his energy and use his defence but will keep the score cards level until the 8th round when pacman slows down and then floyd will use his aggressiveness but all in all would out smart him easily. floyds a fighter who can lead the score card by just depending on his defence- making u miss and paying. Do you know what it's like to fight on the streets of the filipines (sp?)? No gloves getting HIT! That's where manny's heart comes from...gloves seem like pitter pat BS. Plus he's southpaw and this is the biggest riddle for PBF to solve. The angles he'll have to deal with he's only seen a couple times in his life, if at all. Floyd has to put on running shoes to stay away from Manny. He's bouncing, lunging and skipping around the ring, making it much smaller for PBF.

I think floyd wins the fight easily, because he is a superior boxer. really floyd has all the advantages..height, weight, reach, boxing skill, and strategy(tactic inside ring) speed pac is faster with combos but floyd probably in pot shots(1 punch at a time) defense floyd all the way. chin probably equal however pac was wobbled by marquez. lastly,i LOVE pac fans that look at this fight INTELLIGENTLY...not EMOTIONALLY.separating who you want to win to who will likely win.props to those pac fans.

As for the prediction i suppose nobody really knows, as nobody knows what tactics are going to be used by either Pac or Floyd and how each will handle each others style and pressure. I am a massive Pac fan, he's a great fighter and is all heart, as much as I'd like to see him win no one can really deny that Floyd has almost supernatural abilites. He's speed, movement, pinpint accuracy and brain could be too much for Pacquiao. But every time Pac has to step up to face a challange he time and time again prooves himself, and that is what a true champion is. Could go either way on the night.
