  • Its so nice to see people love this game so much to the point that they sit and hear the soundtrack of the game all day☺

  • I was a skeptic at first about this game i played all other tales games and thought this one was overrated. Boy was i slapped in the face.. Best. Song. EVER

  • I had so much fun with this game...

Sadly, I dont have the time anymore to play it...

A wonderfull game to learn english.

  • i used to hate this theme cause i wouldint know what to do....for days on end to hours....and hours...

    but now...its ..so...great...

i'm not crying......Nostalgia just likes to rub onions in my eyes...

  • This is the theme of my spirit <3

  • Omg why is this gamesoooooooo goodoododododododododood

  • Favorite video game theme of all time.

  • Perfect sound for the atmosphere in this town.

  • its a shame that no future tales games has music anywhere remotely close to as good as this

  • This game is hardcore underrated.

  • One of my favorite places. The music here really captured me.

  • That's the cover of the PS2 version I think, I just remember Raine looking like that.

Well sakuzenshi hopefully you still got a few files on a memory card somewhere... IMO that is likely worth more than the actual game!

  • NOSTALGIA ....well least i still have this

Looks over to big basket of games*

    FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

  • Played this game with my wife and a friend; both of whom had already played it before me. They helped me along. I remember this song the most because we kept coming back here time and again to see if we could trigger the event that gave Rain her ceremonial outfit that my wife loves. Not a bad thing, mind you! The song has entered the nostalgic part of my brain.

  • In this tune, it feels like sadness, but striving for the right thing to do. It's like it's somewhere and you're just searching the best you can for a better hope and a better tomorrow. The best town music ever imo.

  • This is the best track in gaming history, man<3

  • Tales of were good. I must admit that Tales of Phantasia mostly caught me !

  • At first, when I played this game, it felt like a cliched RPG. Don't get me wrong, I still enjoyed it, but the story seemed a bit simple. However, once the game hits a certain point, the story takes a radical turn, and it becomes an engaging and creative story based on mythology. This song was also one of my favorites!

  • @kcclubkirby definetly! you know the story and the way everything wraps up is by far some of the best I've seen in a jrpg and that's sayin alot considering how many I've played=p when playing the game from the beginning, there is a considerate amount of well put foreshadowing and details that are easily missed without knowing about the events unfolding in the background

  • I remember palying this game for so long till like 4am in the morning and falling asleep to this song.

  • ASGARD!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • quite possibly my favorite game of all time.

  • If you loved the first Tales of Symphonia, then don't play the second. It's HORRIBLE.

I used to play the gamecube one with a friend of mine and it was all fun times, but the Wii one feel weird, the plot is stale, the controls are awkward, and there's no upgrade on graphics or music from the first one!

  • It really wasn't that bad. I actually enjoyed it. I think for me I enjoyed it so much because i had low, I mean like below hell low, expectations for ToS 2.The plot really wasn't as life-changing as ToS but its hard to beat a game like ToS.

Controls were very easy to get used to IMO nothing too overly complicated. Graphics eh who cares about graphics so much? No upgrade on music? I don't see the problem with that. It felt great going back to the towns and hearing the familiar songs.

  • @chapacoka so , so do you then think that if games have a part 2 or more they needn't change the main musical themes (This is based on the idea that the game continues the current <<trend>> in storyline and atmosphere)

  • @MrAgnost This game for me was mostly nostalgia and seeing how the actions of the ToS1 group changed the world. To me this is what the creators were trying to convey that feeling of nostalgia. So when you enter the towns you can go, oh yeah...this is where etc. etc... I wouldn't have minded changing or adding more battle, dungeon, emotional moment themes but for things like characters and towns, I feel that having one main theme for those subjects to remember them is enough.

  • @chapacoka Hmm thanks, interesting viewpoints :) Always good to hear people

    people's opinions on proper gaming

  • @MrAgnost Yup, and its always nice to meet people open to others viewpoints and opinions rather than having one narrow viewpoint and shunning the rest.

  • such a relaxing song, this game is a true classic

  • Probably my favorite music in the game. It fits the town perfectly.

  • One of my favorite Gamecube game.

    One of my favorite RPG.

    Tales of Symphonia rules.

  • One of the best games EVER!! :)

  • This rules

  • I like Namco though. I love Klonoa. :) Xenosaga isn't so bad either though it's really bizarre... and Albedo is creepy. 0_o Momo and Collete are really cute though. :)

  • I have mixed feelings for this game and the second one because of the characters and stuff but some parts were memorable like reading the journal in the second game in this town.

  • What's the name of the map in the sky? The floating island? I forgot...

  • Exire

  • Wow, awesome song!

  • its very hard to close youtube when this music is playing i hope u understand my english :D

  • @brfreaker If your English isn't up to standard then I fear the worst for most others. (Yes that's good)

  • @brfreaker Your english is tops.

  • @brfreaker you're English is fine :)

  • OMG NOSTALGIA.

  • My favorite song of the ENTIRE game. <3

  • This game has some greatness in it. =)

    Love the fighting, too. :D

  • I don't know why I sold this game. It's amazing!

  • The name definitely illustrates the feeling you get when you here this song.

  • This is my favorite song in the game. :D

  • Sounds good in ToS1 sounds even better in ToS2

  • I really love Asgard's music.. makes me wanna go reminisce and go back to my past! the first time I went to Asgard, I was like.. WOW! this music is soo cool! xD

  • ''Town of Wind And Ruins'' reminds me of when my boyfriend and I got together, we played this until the end with Mithos, it was a sweet time ^^ We're still together, but we haven't played it since back then, and I think we should pick it up again since it is pure awesomeness :D

  • I can listen to this track for hours! One of the best RPG on the gamecube!

  • I like it. It kinda gives you that calm yet subtle eerie feeling.

Also, it sounds like that one theme from Panzer Dragoon Saga.

  • Sylvarant had a lot of my favorite themes. Palmacosta was my favorite out of the town musics.

  • Palmacosta for sure! ^^

This game has such awsome music!

My favorites from this game are all battle musics, lol. Like the fight with the necromancer(?) (An optional, REALLY HARD boss)

  • Wow, you rock so much! Seriously! I love ToS and the two songs you put up are my favorite songs/towns from the game!! thank you!

  • Can't wait for the sequel for Wii ;_; I need it so bad. Just played a new save at ToS with a friend in co-op

  • the drumb in the background reminds me of zelda OoT, like the shadow-temple or something, isn't it?

  • this game was a great game, and it had some amazing songs in it

  • Great game, the sequel is due out soon for Wii.

  • cool!

  • This game was magical to me when I was a lot younger...

  • My cousin lent me this game. Is it good?

  • I love this song. When I first made my way here I spent 5 more so minutes just listening to the music (Favorite). I need to play this game again soon. So many great tracks.

I know the story is a little simple, but give it time. Also be wary of spoilers!

  • Yeah it's really a fun game, I love the battle system! I also had to spend time doing actually nothing in this town when I got there, it's the first music that made me stop and listen. :P

  • Hear, here.

Some of the voice acting made me cringe (must... strangle... Colette...) but the music (save the Sylvarant Battle theme) pleased me.

  • year tos is great

  • Holychrist, another tales of- in your collection <3 nice pick.

By the way forgot what town plays this tune... It's where you fight the big fake wind spirit ect ect.

    Anyho, nice pick Darky <3333

  • I'm playing the game for the first time, loving it! I just got past this town. The story is a bit on the simple side so far, but it's alright.

  • Hehe, the game is kinda linear, get used to release seal after seal. If you're (assuming) playing the english version then some battles won't use it's original bgm which is kinda sad.

There is perhaps a few (just a few) more good bgms such as this one later on by the way.

  • Oh man, there's alot of nice tunes in the game espically the second battle music, it's one of my fav battle music songs of all time, this is an awesome song too, nice upload, I love you're taste in VG music.

  • You mean the battle theme on the field in Tethe'alla? I could not agree with you more.

  • And then there's the Battle of The Spirits, it's AWESOME :D

The Tethe'allan battle music is amazing too :-)

  • @SupraDarky omg dude, its perfection...ya i know, 3 year late comment
