  • I would like to build a computer to run Skyrim on ultra high can you help me please?

  • could i run this with:

    2x core 2 duo @ 3ghz

    ati radeon hd 4970

    4gb ram

  • @GnorfenGaming Possibly on low

  • @GamerGraphicsTV thanks, i tryed it and got it to high 50+ fps

    great videos btw, + 1 subscriber =)

  • If you're into TMNT, I hope you have watched the film "Turtles Forever" :)

  • I see that you're using a 6950. I'm about to get a 6850 and then upgrade to two 6850's next month.

    Is the 6950 good?

  • @Jiakurai Best card I have ever used, it is very good and very powerful.

  • @GamerGraphicsTV I'll have to get that one later. The 6850 is what I'm getting, and I'm just gonna upgrade to two later. Buying a PC because I'm done with the console community. Thanks for the reply

  • @Jiakurai no problem

  • @GamerGraphicsTV do you think it is a good idea to build ur own computer over the internet and git shipped and im thinking of alienware

  • @lloodyMurda I think it is a good idea to buy parts online and build the system yourself yes. Alienware on the other hand you end up paying a lot more for their custom cases and logos. I would steer clear of them in my opinion.

  • i could play it on low settings thats not to shabby

  • Best skyrim comparison ive seen on youtube.

  • @ironlunatic1 Thanks, I try my hardest to be the best at what I do.

  • @GamerGraphicsTV Your the best at what you do, and what you do is put the consoles in it's place. THATS MAH JOB! >:O

Lol, kidding. Hey I play Skyrim on my Laptop here's my specs, is it a suprise that it works? :/

    HP Pavilion dv5 Notebook PC

AMD Turion(TM) II P540 Dual-Core Processor 2.40 GHz 4.00 GB (3.74 GB usable of Ram)

    64-bit Operating System

  • When you actually do a comparrison of low settings and ultra settings when looking at the wall or trees or w/e, you can see big differences, but when you just play the game normally its hard to even tell whats better or not.

  • Skyrim is ugly in low settings ..

  • I'm currently running on

    Intel Core 2 Duo @ 2.4GHz

nVidia 9600m GT 512MB of VRAM

    Kingston 8GB DDR3 RAM @ 1066MHz

    Windows 7 32-bit

will it be enough to even run Skyrim mid to low settings at 1440x900?

    Thanks

  • @OMFGWTFBBQSAUCEHAX Yes, but maybe not at 60 frames per second.

  • @OMFGWTFBBQSAUCEHAX Easily!

  • @OMFGWTFBBQSAUCEHAX yeh i have a 9500gt and rest of the rig is pretty much the same. I did have issues the 1st time around but bethesda came out with patches, i updated my drivers and now i can play this game on max resolution with high settings with barely any lags or freezes, crazy shit lol

  • How much, roughly, did this / would this cost to make - or, in other words - how much would it cost me to make a gaming PC of the same specs as this (broadly) but possibly with slightly different, cheaper components?

    Thanks

  • Ok so to all you geeks who know your s**t, is the xbox 360 graphics setting the same as low settings on a pc because it looks to me like the 360 graphics are better than the zero detail moss shown on this vid of pc low settings.

  • I bet I could actually play this on a notebook as well. will work I think. I give a shit at graphics, the skill system and the story is important.

  • There's a huge difference between low settings run on a powerful computer, and low settings on a computer that can barely even manage that. Putting my tiny FPS aside, my game looks like Morrowind on lowest using my laptop. Looking forward to playing it on a new PC soon.

  • lol, the difference is like night and day. Tbh though, I can't see much of a difference between high and ultra in this game.

  • I have a Acer Predator G Seriers, specs:

    Windows 7 64-bit

    2nd gen i7 2600k 3.4 GHz

    nVidia Geforce 550 Ti

    8 GB of ram

Going to buy Skyrim soon but would I need to buy another Geforce 560 Ti to play it on high/ultra in high FPS?

Please reply GamersGraphics, your videos are great.

  • what settings can i run this game on with:

    4gigs of RAM

    AMD Athlon II X3 450AM

    Nvidia G210

  • @Zevan12 Low settings most likely, to play a high demanding game such as Skyrim you need a good Graphics card, i recommend turning off the high demanding settings such as AA and shadows, this can gain you quite a lot of fps, but it's also a good idea to look into a new graphics card because it will save you from spending more money in the future on upgrades to play games on decent settings, the Nvidia GTX 560 and 570 are good, the 560 is under £200 and is a powerful card:)

  • the differences aren't that bad, you can still play on low graphics and have tons of fun, makes me happy that they put effort for those with regular pc's not just ultra gaming supercomputers (though i'm saving to get one of those anyways :P) awesomeness :D

  • I don't see any difference

  • Mods bitches!

  • Speaking of settings, what audio level did you record this at? I have my shit cranked up just to hear you talking.

  • @abergethirty This one is low, I admit, the settings must have been messed up when I did it. Sorry about that.

  • Ultra settings is 90% dependent on the CPU power not the GPU. If we compare High to Ultra, there is not a single difference in the textures, but the draw distance is absolutely improved, so the game looks much prettier. I have Intel Dual Core E5700 and HD 5670 and I play it on High at around 38FPS average, but as soon as I shift to Ultra, the FPS become on 5 !!!. This explains that how much Skyrim is CPU dependent. So if you wanna play skyrim properly you should have an enough CPU to handle it.

  • watched in 1080p and jizzed on my keyboard

  • Too bad he did not have a computer to Medium Graphic: :( :( :( :(

More Works in Low and Medium Shadow: P '---'

  • could it work on lowest on dual core 1.5 ghz (3) and 2 gb ram on my piece of shit toaster?

  • How do I swith settings from high to low and vice versa?

  • @ikke471 When you open de game, it will show a screen saying " Play, Option, Tech Support..."

Click in Options and set the " Detail " level to whatever you want, and there you go !

  • Could I run this (on lowest texture and poly settings, and low draw distance) with: HD 4670 1GB ddr3, 2GB ddr2 RAM, and a Pentium D 820 2.8 ghz?

  • @rocknroll980 You are asking a lot for people to figure out if your rig can run something on specific settings for a specific game, for a specific rig, with out a benchmark or anything.... Just pull up the games minimum requirements. You should also include OS. For example, vista is resource heavy, xp and 7 are not. Though I would expect pretty bad performance considering your specs. ddr2 ram is pretty slow and graphics cards go up to ddr5 (speed matters more than volume).

  • Hardware companies make so much money from us pc gamers, people are right there is not too much diference low setings look like consoles, high setings are there so we could give them money, the only game that does really look better when you crank up the setings is Crysis, and that game was ported on the console, if they force me to spend money just to be able to play a newer game, i can download games for free so fuck them all!

  • @Tactomanify Skyrim is release on steam only, good luck with that. The hardware honestly does not cost that much. For about 600-700 dollars you could probably build a fairly decent gaming pc if you really watch what you spend on. Very low end computers pre-built with a INTEGRATED (not real) graphics card run about 300-400. It is fairly reasonable because you could buy one of those pieces of junk put a 100-150 dollar graphics card and play MOST games on -max- settings.

  • Question does the start if them game always start really slow? or is just my computer?

  • low setting is still better than console. its sad

  • i dont really see that much difference between low and high except for the moss, but who gives a fuck about moss anyway :)

  • @TheNyanShow Its not about the moss really, it is just an example of the texture change.

  • @GamerGraphicsTV AMD Radeon HD 6770M

    Intel Core i7-2670QM Processor

8192 MB Can I Run It? PLEASE REPLY:D Great Vid.. Subed

  • @ABCDavid96 Look at Can you run it: ht tp : // w ww.system requirementslab. c om/cyri/intro.aspx (Remove spaces)

  • @TheNyanShow People who have a display who can pick up on much much smaller details harder to see on lower end comps/displays that are not capable of portraying entirely what max settings in a game brings. For example, a crappy display, even with the backing of a high end graphics card, will look like trash, perhaps worse than trash. Trash with crisp lines, much worse. Vice-Versa. Plus if you don't have a very powerful computer, but you also dont have trash, you want to know what mid-range is!

  • @TheNyanShow Man there a huge difference..moss, wood grain, cloth texture, stone..everything.. you must not have watched this vid in HD or something. Or maybe your monitor is whack.

  • @TheNyanShow Man there a huge difference..moss, wood grain, cloth texture, stone..everything.. you must not have watched this vid in HD or something. Or maybe your monitor is whack.

  • @TheNyanShow it's because they made it for console first and then transfered it to pc. i think it should have been the other way around because now no matter how badass ur pc is, the graphics will still look just the same in any settings LOL which kind of sucks for pc gamers who really put heart and soul into making their pc's kick ass. my laptop plays witcher 2 on medium high settings and that game's graphics is crazy but this game's graphics, i expected better.

  • will i be able to use ultra high settings on my new pc arriving in a few days?:

    AMD FX 4100 AM3+ Quad core 3.6Ghz

    4GB RAM

Nvidia GTX 550 TI 1 GB PCI-E Graphics Card

  • i have a an intel i5 core proccesor ati radeon 6490m radeon graphics card my computer my computer is a hp probook 4530s, could I run skyrim and if i can whats the highest grahpics that i can run it on without and lag plz comment really thinking of buying this game xD

  • I am surprised that I can run skyrim on high settings on my laptop! i5-460m, HD 5650, 4 gigs of ddr3 ram. 30-60fps outside, 50+ inside! amazing.

  • I have a ATI Radeon HD 4200 so I have to play on low settings. Is there anything I could do besides buying a new graphics card so I could play on medium at least? My computer has 4 cores with 8 gigs of ram.

  • @rockonwood007 the 4200 is your bottleneck. Get a better card and the game will work great. Other than that I see nothing you can improve, sorry.

  • @GamerGraphicsTV Ok...I can spend $50 - $75. Maybe $100, any suggestions?

  • @GamerGraphicsTV I have a radeon Hd6520g with 2GB Mem, i have 4gb ram, and a quad-core processor could i run this game at medium settings with no lagg?

  • @rockonwood007 LOL i also have 4200 in my laptop and i was wondering if i can run skyrim. Your comment gave me the answer. If it's playable i am fine with low settings. For me graphics ain't everything. But can you tell me how much fps you are getting ? Also your ram and processor please

  • @rockonwood007 great card to buy: radeon hd 6770 or hd 6670. Best bang for buck(or however u say it XD) i played skyrim on it 1600x900 max settings max distance with FXAA and 16AF, but without vsync and AA at newest version. Plays smooth all time, and not to tell how gorgeous and REALISTIC ultra looks like :)

  • @OpenGLSecond I bought a 6850HD on Newegg... at the time (few months ago) it was the best bang for your buck according to benchmarks. It was pretty affordable too, especially considering mine was one of the fancy ones. Runs really, really cool too. About 45C which is about 45C away from its thresh-hold (it can run up to 90C according to the specs before reaching a dangerous level) and that is with the fan running below 100%.

  • @666NedFlanders im using XP pro and I definitely need a whole different mobo for this game, videocard is ok for low settings, my processor is a bottleneck; pentium d 820

  • @rockonwood007 Number of cores does not always mean anything. A computer with fewer cores can often do as well as one with many. Also, most games will not utilize multiple cores and if they do it is only for small things. WOW was known to migrate from using just one core, to using a second core to run the music. In generally though, its usually the graphics card that holds the computer back. If you have multiple displays, use only one though as having more than adds stress on the graphics card.

  • @rockonwood007 I'm after a new rig with a radeon HD 6670, you can pick them up for under $100 and it should be able to bump you up to medium.

  • I use a Radeon HD 3650 with low setting with a resolution of 800x500. Inside I get around 30fps-45fps, outside I get 30fps-40fps. I don't give a fuck if I have to play Skyrim in a window! I'm just happy I get to play it.

  • Hey, great vid but are you doing this with AA or FXAA, i want to know because when i turn AA x2 on (or x4,x8) i get 20-25 fps, when i turn it off (but with FXAA on) I get 40-50 fps - All of that on high settings(outside). I just want to know if there is a big difference between FXAA and AA

  • I can run this game with acceptable FPS at 1440x810 at High textures, low radial blur, shadows, high decal quantity, no antialising, no anisotropic flitering, no FXAA, no water reflections, minimal fade on all, distant object detail low, distant object fade checked on my Intel Dual Core 2.4 GHz 2 GB Ram 9500 GT PC. :( I need to get a new PC.

  • Is 2.20GHz (8 CPUs) 2.2GHz good for running games at Ultra?

  • @z0mBiExHD i play skyrim with 2.2ghz with ultra, but u need a good graphics card to cover the missing ghz

  • im playing this with a 3.4GHz single core and 1gb of ram with a 6800GS graphics card...dual core two gigs my ass!

  • its his first TES game...he didnt even know...didnt seem like he believes that the game never ends.....

  • @dbspaceoditty This is true

  • @GamerGraphicsTV you should really pick up morrowind and oblivion. but play morrowind first. its almost ancient but really. you will see what this game could have been. and why the modding community is so great in oblivion and hopefully skyrim

  • Thanks for the video. I have a setup similar to yours and was curious how high I could take it. I have a reference design 6950 2gb with unlocked shaders and a mild overclock, i7 2500k @ 5.0GHz, and 16GB Corsair Vengeance 1600ghz. Yep, overkill, but it's my game console, work station, business center, and home theater :)

  • funny how it looks almost the same as on 360.

  • @TranceForLyfe i have 360 and a pc i can play ultra high and it looks 20x better than 360

  • @solarlightning I'm glad for you then. All I had to pay to play skyrim was 60 bucks. It didn't leave me with a hole in my wallet and it still looks gorgeous on my tv. Win/win.

  • @TranceForLyfe i play skyrim on my 360 not pc just cuz i started on the 360 and already finished the main quest

  • outdoor settings would have been nice

  • If I change my settings low to max or max to low I still have the SAME FPS what gives ??

  • it's fully playable at low settings .... for me it's all about perfect FPS the game must be smooth rather than look ultra.

  • Does anybody knows if skyrim on low-medium settings looks as the consoles graphically talking?

thing is i have skyrim on ps3 but will get it on PC soon, not sure if its worth playing it on low medium settings on PC.

  • @OdyseusGamingHD I started playing skyrim on my PC today on mid-high settings and I can a sure you its gorgeous. I have textures on high so those always look nice and way better than consoles.

  • I tried playing this on my old gaming pc

    2.8g ddr4

    gtx9800

    Anthlon 64 X2

Had a very hard time on low settings

  • what card would i need to run this on ultra with a smooth 60fps?

i have the NVIDA gtx 560ti which runs it at about 50 fps min on ultra maxed. and higher than 60fps on high.

  • @JFRKO93 There's really not much of a difference between Ultra and High to me. And having it at 50 is already good enough, the eye can't seem more than 30 fps. So don't go wasting your money for a higher card. But...if you really insist then you could get nividia's top card to date, GTX 590.

  • @RibuloseBiphosphate i think the eye cant see more than 45 fps not 30 because i notice battelfield 3 at 60fps and battelfield 3 on consoles (30fps) i can tell pc is more smooth

  • @JFRKO93 Yeah, I have console BF3 for 360. Generally you'll mostly just noticed that its much more smooth and that's about it.

  • Holy crap it still looks good on low quality, fml I should've gotten it for PC instead of PS3, oh well :P

  • Why are the buttons shown for a 360 controller? Were you playing with one?

  • Hey, I'm wondering if this will hold up on Ultra:

    ASRock Z68 Extreme3 Gen3

    i5 2500K Sandybridge

    8GB Ripjaw

    Radeon HD 6850 1GB

    Win7 Ultimate x64

    I'll overclock with a 650W PSU.

  • @estien11 yes it will run ultra smoothly

  • I could give two shits about how moss and rocks look lol. Only thing that gets me is the draw distance. This game could have the graphics of morrowind and i would still play it.

  • @TrevorEngage Im happy for you, everyone has their own opinion.

  • @TrevorEngage Mmmm thats cool and all but I prefer to get sucked in the atmosphere of the game and those detailed rocks do that for me even if they don't for you!

  • @TrevorEngage

WRONG. You *couldn't give two shits about how moss and rocks look lol.

  • To run Skyrim even more better turn off everything including Steam if that's where you got it from and switch your computers performance to best it will look like Windows 2000 but its worth it.

  • what settings is skyrim sett to on the xbox version??

  • @thenerdyminecrafter medium or low high

  • @matt4jeff actually, it's high-ultra from what I've seen, just at a lower native res than PC's 1080p (probably 720p).

  • Hey, can you tell me if i can run Skyrim on my laptop?

    Intel Pentium Dual Core T4200 2x 2.00GHz

    Nvidia Geforce 9400M G 1,4GB

    3GB ram DDR3

    Thanks

  • @WraithXMetin You have enough RAM, and a good enough Nvidia card, but the processor is at the bare minimum, plus its on a laptop... you might get lucky and be able to run it on low settings, but i recommend getting a bit of a better processor first... i have 2GB RAM, dual core 2.30GHz, and about the same graphics card as you, and i can run on medium settings... so you should be find on low settings. Hope i helped :)

  • @rommelpk My PC can run it so your can too XD I play at 1024x768 without lag and got 2GB ram and an ATI Readon 2300HD :D

  • @GibboneVision thank you very much :)

  • hey can anyone tell me if my computer can play skyrim

    windows7 64bit

amd dual core a4-3400apu with amd radeon hd 6410d

    1gb vga memory

    1tb hard drive

    4gb ram

  • yay im gunna test this game today its gunna lag i have to ask am i saying gunna wrong ?. refering to going to right (gunna)

  • @thunderbolt997 gunna works, I usually say gonna :)

  • omg i love your wallpaper. where'd u get it from?

  • @tiggsbabe Don't remember the artists site exactly, I got the full list of pics from one of the posts on thechive though.

  • You took an arrow to the knee. After hearing that story again, you took an arrow to your other knee.

  • Comment removed

  • The game automatically put me on High settings, can i still switch to ultra just to see if the performance drops to really noticeable levels?

  • @depture Of course, you can change the settings to anything you like. The performance will change with each setting you change,

  • can I run the game on my pc?

    I have:

    6700@2,66Ghz 2,67 Ghz

    Ram 2GB

    32 bits

    Intel(R) Core (TM) 2CPU

thats all I can see :/

Please answer, I really like to know if I'm able to play it or not.

  • @000Z9A Barely you could have a very laggy game at lowest settings. Its hard for my 4gb's of ram can barely handle it.

  • @000Z9A I would say u need atleast 4GB ram, and to be on 64 bit and its mainly to do with your Graphics card.

  • my computer runs at 10 fps with lowest possible settings -_-

I know and im working on getting a new graphics card alright!

  • Wow, the graphics are actually pretty similar between Low and High. Little contrast here. Unlike in oblivion, where low graphics looked worse than Morrowind...

  • how well will my system run it:

    3,6 quad core

    radeon 6770

    8 gigs of ram?

  • can my laptop play skryim? amd turion 2 dualcore mobile m520 2.3ghz

    ram 2gb(1.75 useable)

    ati mobility radeon hd4200 962mb

can i run it without lag on the lowest settings? i dun wanna waste my money paying for sumting i cant play... :(

  • so this video demonstrates console version vs PC version?

  • low settings look pretty good actually

  • Can a 2.0 GHz Processor, 3GB RAM, 1.5 Gig CPU play this on Medium with the applied Performance mods at 800x600? As long as I get to play, I'll be fine. (Plus, the Can You Run It? Test said I passed.

  • i have a gts 250, 3gb of ram, 126 gb of freespace still after using some, some kinda foxconn motherboard....

my question is... can i run this game? i rllllllllllllllllly want it, and need answers immediately. please!

  • if i can play farcry 2 can i play this??? please answer thanks!

  • Mac = Working

    Windows = Gaming.

  • Do you think I can run skyrim on low resolution and low settings with these specs:

    Processor:Amd v120 2.2ghz

    Ram:8gb

    GPU:ATI radeon 4250

PS: I can run oblivion on high settings (no antlilashing)

  • @7GGonzalez Well, considering my specs are lower than yours and I could play Skyrim on low without anything modded, I'd say yes, but you may get some lag. May I recommend you google some "Skyrim Performance Mod, TESV Reduced Texture Pack, and Etc." Plus GameBooster to play?

  • Do u think that this PC could run Skyrim at High resolution without framerate?

    Intel-core 2 Duo CPU P8700 2,53 GHz

    4 GB DDR3 RAM

    NVIDIA GeForce GT240M Cuda 1GB

    Windows 7 64 bits

    Thx for your attention.

  • use your pip boy light !

  • you know fuck it ill stick to consoles

  • @BrickArts295 You stick with the consoles gtfo LAPTOPS PC,S

  • hey could you help me please?

here's my computer spec, do you recon i could run skyrim?

    ATHLON 4800 TOWER PC

    2GB DDR2 RAM

    250GB HDD

    512MB 8400GS VGA

    AMD Phenom(tm) 2 X3 710 Processor 2.60 GHz

    32-bit Operating System

    Windows 7

  • @w1tchw2tch buy 2x2 gigabytes of corsair valueselect ram and replace it with your current ram it should fit and your pc will be alot faster

  • @skaterdude1998 alright cheers man i'll look into it

  • if i can run oblivion on max 1080p can i run skyrim on low 1080p

  • @THEDARKRIFLE I am not sure to be honest I have never played Oblivion, although from what I have heard yes you can.

  • Would an i5 and a gt 430 with 8 gb ram play this on medium or high?

  • Think a 2.8Ghz quad-core, 6GB PC1800 DDR ram, and GTX 470 could max Skyrim at 1680x1050?

  • @irllcd13 yes

  • @GamerGraphicsTV In preferred system requirements, it says CPU should be a quad-core, though I know for gaming it's preferable to have higher GHz than cores, how would having a 3.4 GHz dual-core with a Radeon XFX 6770 1GB and 4GB DDR2 memory deal with this game?

  • i just bought 6 things to basically rebuild my pc, it was originally a hp pavilion a6112n and the specs now are :

    AMD Athlon II X2 260 Regor 3.2GHz

Asus ATI Radeon HD6450 Silence 1 GB DDR3

    Corsair Memory 4GB

    ASRock A770DE+

    Windows 7 64-bit

What setting could i run Skyrim on and how many fps?

  • @skaterdude1998 probably low to medium settings with most of the fade distances low

  • @ThePearce1994 is there anything i could upgrade that'll make it better? i actually have 6GB of ram i accidently put 4 in the comment

  • @skaterdude1998 and you cant have 6gb of ram since athlon ii cpu's dont support dual channel ram

  • @skaterdude1998 you could maybe think about upgrading your processor or upgrading to gts 460 or 560

  • @ThePearce1994 well im not going to upgrade my gpu cause i just bought it but i havnt actually bought the processor yet and i think im gonna pay the extra 30$ for a quad core 3.0 Ghz amd athlon if i can find a better phenom i'll do that though

  • @skaterdude1998 you could run it on quite high settings since the game is meant to run on consoles

  • Comment removed

  • lol lets test out the graphics on max....in a cave thats mostly black

  • @MetalPancakes Would you rather me show you outside where you cant see any texture changes and the lighting and shadows are so large you cant tell the difference?

  • I have a question, lets say i have 4gb of ram on my computer and i put in a 1gb video card in does that mean i will only have 3gb of ram on the computer?

  • @mariomaster233 No, they are completely separate.

  • @GamerGraphicsTV ok, thanks i wanted to know because i am getting the xfx gt520 1gb video card and i needed to know if i needed to upgrade my ram or not

  • good to know that it's not all that different, I'm pretty sure my computer couldn't play this on high settings.

  • I've got a question : With what amount of money do i get a high resolution pc ??
