  • i had no idea what he was saying but whatever it was I WANT THAT FERMI !! is it out now?

  • @enzo12ify1 ya, long time

  • @AlienBabelTech haha sweet and is it good 4 gaming?

  • @enzo12ify1 ya, check out my other video for GTX 465. IT's a fermi card.

  • @AlienBabelTech nice, that thing was massive (the card like thing with 3 fans!)

  • fake

  • do the engineers and people that work on PC hardware get a free copy of the piece they developed? if so, ive decided what i want to be =p

  • this things gonna cost an arm and a leg :)

  • @CookieMonzta1995 and a middle leg too.

  • now thats awesome

  • give us faster processors now.. give us the roswell technology you uncovered when those aliens crashed..

  • @mobspeak 6 core processor allready in stores man.... but it cost fricking 1000$,€ ect ect

  • alienabel trying to pretend like they are hosting this video? rofl.

  • can i play mario un fermi series :D?

  • u will get hd resolution and 99999999999999fps xD

  • @dany18gtx probably but all settings on low:))

  • Why isnt this dude not fire yet? wtf????????????

are you for real? 6 months delay on a product and he still here WoW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • its not his fault its TMSC fault.

  • 8 Times the performance.... 8 WHAT!!! i'll get one : )

  • but differences about tesla and fermi?

  • Counter Strike?!! dejat d joderrr...

  • i wonder if ati's workstation cards can compete with this performance wise

  • nvidia made a (ATI style) VERY NICE.

  • i am gonna get 40000Fps on Counter strike wooooooohoooooooooo..

  • GT300?¿ IS GF100

    GTX380?¿ IS GTX480

  • holy fuck ATI is in trouble

  • @BLACKOUT319 dont think so.

  • It makes me laugh looking back at all the comments of people thinking nVidia would actually be successful with Fermi, what a fail. Performance crown has definitely moved to ATI. There is NO way that they can release a 495 without redesigning the architecture. It runs way too hot in the 480, 10 degrees hotter than the 5970 and it gets worse when you SLi them.

  • @RyanADillon A lot of them are made to run hot - they can withstand the heat and continue to run fine. The temperatures depend more on the cooling in your case. Have you ever heard of aftermarket cooling? EVGA hydro copper?

More power consumption/output = more heat, typically.

Also.. ATI = AMD and AMD = failsauce. ATI might have some decent GPUs out right now but their driver support always has and will fail in comparison to nVidia imo.

  • @cygmarx If AMD were a fail company they wouldn't still be around today and competing with a company 15x their size (and only has 2-3x the market share). What AMD produces on its limited capital base is insane. Soon ATI will have the leadership in market share, just check the trends of the Steam Hardware Survey. The 400 series is just the first nail in the coffin. Being designed to run hot isn't a good thing, more heat, power consumption and noise = failsauce x3.

  • @RyanADillon kk sweetheart. Whatever helps you sleep @ night. :)

The reason ATI is popular right now according to the "Steam Hardware Trends" is because they're cheap, and America's economy is fucked. I'm not saying ATI sucks or AMD completely blows but ATI's driver support most definitely does.

How is it you're so educated when it comes to nVidia's temperatures when you're an ATI fanboy? Do you speak of that which you do not know? I hope you're not assuming. :(

  • @BLACKOUT319 looks like the other way around.

  • @BLACKOUT319

Actually nVidia is in trouble. Last year nVidia held 60% of the graphics market. This year it's 51% (AMD) 49% (NVDA).

nVidia is losing. FERMI failed. GTX 460 is cute but AMD can and will price cut it with cheaper 5870's when AMD releases 6-000 series in Oct. this year. nVidia is either going to go out of business or be eaten up by VIA or Intel (probably VIA).

GPU (low end and high) failed. Tegra(2) failed. Can't compete against SoC (System of Chip).

    nVidia is dying.

  • @BLACKOUT319 no, not at all...

  • when comes those cards on the marked? And would the prices on GTX 2xx fall?

  • @norwaytoz

They might drop but not by a lot. These cards unless they bring out a "mid-end" will be considered high-end so wont drop the prices to much.

  • 999 fps for cod4 muhahaha

  • Folks are comparing this Fermi to the ATI card. But the tables have turned. This is no longer a graphics card it is a generic multi core CPU being used as a GPU - not the other way around.

People who are into supercomputing are a big part of this.

  • hi all so is the gf100 the new gtx395 will is be better than 5970 and most importantly quieter

  • nobody knows yet, when it gets released we will post benchmarks. stay tuned to the website.

  • @rdt1970 well to your comment that the never exsisted "gtx395" will be quieter you failed very hard

  • another g92?

  • ohh noo i would never trust a company with a man named Jen Hsun Huang leading it...never

  • ahh, it's good to be young, can't wait to see what i'll see in the next 10 or so years *goes into virtual sex chamber* ..huh what?

  • "RISK" is definitely the right word to use. The manufacturing process was a complete failure.

  • "this puppy is a fermi" said Nvidia CEO holding a fake card with wood screws. awesome?

  • cuda gonna throw DX outta thhe market

  • no FERMI is, CUDA isnt new... i think its about 1 and a year half old..

  • @killervalonz

    are you SERIOUSS??? muahah

  • or maybe just half of the time or something like that, lots of GPU's have it (Nvidia ofc)

  • i cant even afford a GTX200 card :( the 9800GT is something like 150$ here :S

  • and that should be much? ye okay, for a 9800gt, but still its about the same price-range, you don't just get it for free ( unless you get it from a friend or some sheet liek that)

  • 150$ is not much but GTX200 ot GTS250 is probably 300$ way too overpriced

  • ye, bought my EVGA GTS 250 1gb for 'bout 190 bucks.

  • of course it will support DX11

  • gt300 DONT´T SUPPORT DX 11

  • and?

  • dx 10 looks like shit

  • @multimodder how do you know that ?

  • @multimodder Tell me a game with dx11

  • Battleforge

    Stalker: Call of Pripyat

    Dirt 2

    Aliens vs. Predator

  • @multimodder ok there are not DECEMT games that use dx11

    Most doesent even use 10

  • and battlefield bad company 2

    battlefield bad company 1943

    shattered horizon

  • @multimodder: First, it's a GF100. Second, it supports DX11. Check your sources.

  • ATI is DEAD whenn 300 series are out!!!.

5970 is now a good card, but the 300 series will beat ATI.

  • Source?

  • lol depends if GT300 do not support DX11 then whats the point?

  • ATI FTW! Nvidia is slow and retarded... they showed up a fake card on this conferance...

  • I think you right "thesevenghost", when gt300 appaer it will cost more than the 5970, I don't know why there are people how think nvdia will win. Poor bastard, i fell sorry for them!

  • They will. Nvidia is only laughing at their face because they released it too early. Also, what games put DX11 to good use? Nothing! Don't worry, if anything goes wrong with Nvidia, I always got my 2x 5870s. I'm a gamer not a fanboy.

  • Who uses PhysX?

  • Way more games use Physx compared to Havoc.

  • In real world terms having physx and directx11 doesnt make much of a difference. Just like 3d Vision. You pay 300 quid for a piece of kit that make your head hurt after you take it off.

  • dont feel sorry for them...ati was in the same position a few times. the whole business is very bipolar like that

  • @j1f2s3: Given the GF100 has a billion more transistors than the 5970, I think it'll perform pretty darned good.

  • Ok, It could have a billion more transistors but you will pay for that and nvidia is like intel this days, some have to pay for the advertisement or tv comercials.

  • @j1s2f3 Do you realize how much the ATi 5970 costs? About $700. That's, AFAIK, the most expensive consumer video card that's been released yet. If it isn't, it's pretty close.

  • It cost $700 now, by the time nvidia !released! they v.c., Ati will drop the price and again ati win.

  • @j1f2s3 ATi won't drop prices (except by maybe $50 or less) until the next generation comes out.

  • ATI rules in performance for the buck.

But ATI doesn't have PhysX... *droool*

I'm a sucker for great grafiks so when I get money enough to buy nVIDIA card with PhysX.

Then it will be a buy without a moment of thought.

  • I think GT300 will sell around ~USD 750/single core unit. That hurt...

  • Really? where u got the information?

  • Once GT300 appear, ATI will come with new powerfull product and off caouse Perfomance/Price, ATI win!

  • nvidia wins on performance everytime

  • Thats funny. My 4850x2, currently priced at $220 on Newegg kicks the crap out of a $350 dollar 285.

    nVidia will tank :D

  • i have the hd 5850 but i want a gt300 :P

    Much better Nvidia >>>>"fermi"

  • Nvidia gives you more solid gameplay and much higher minimums in almost every game,if your running a amd cpu go with an nvidia card,if you got a really fast intel cpu go with either brand...the drivers are unbeatable and is the smarter choice with a slower cpu

  • You clearly don't know what your talking about.

  • We could have the ultimate online squabble with the stupid handicap against the dumb retard :D

...but seriously i owned a 4890 before i "downgraded" to GTX 260 and the nvidia card is far better...

  • Mmmm, I indeed liked the GTX260, I owned it before my TWO 4890's, which I have now (you can check my channel for proof). I love both companies, they both have their in's and out's. the 5000 series just simply destroys the 200 series, while the 4000 series retained it's value because of it's pricepoint. I'm not arguing, I'm just saying that both are good companies. I loved my GTX260.

  • I think that video card is fake, nvidia is falling behind!

  • Sexy :D

  • tesla is not for gaming

  • true u can use it though, but yeah its not meant for gaming

  • i cant wait to see who will 4 way sli that shit imagine Crysis on that it would run like playing COD 1

  • @SkateNY109

you cant get that much wattage outta normal home socket.... man

  • Had ATI once!

Never again. There is only Nvidia for me!

    The day Nvidia stops...i quit!

Even Friends with ATI dont have entry in my house!

Just to be a bastard...and i love it..!

I could write a claim with the devil if i have to! NVIDIA NVIDIA NVIDIA NVIDIA NVIDIA NVIDIA NVIDIA NVIDIA NVIDIA NVIDIA NVIDIA NVIDIA NVIDIA NVIDIA NVIDIA NVIDIA NVIDIA NVIDIA NVIDIA NVIDIA NVIDIA NVIDIA NVIDIA NVIDIA NVIDIA NVIDIA NVIDIA NVIDIA NVIDIA NVIDIA NVIDIA NVIDIA NVIDIA FOR EVER!

  • wow, fanboy abusing >.>. I don't care about the brand, I pay for performance (like an intelligent person) and every benchmarks and everyone know that ati is better, at 40-50 $ less, and use less wattage, so ati is the right choice for me, if nvidia was better for less, then I'd be an nvidia boy -__-. I hate noob fanboys who get ripped off by compagnies . Same thing goes for intel vs amd, i was amd beforce because of the performance, but right now the best bang for the buck is intel (i5) and ati.

  • Then you are not my friend..!

    You enemy... ;)

    Have fun.! Bye bye!

  • So your saying that you area loser with no friends?

and the only thing you care about in life is nvidia?

  • Are you realy so slow!

Read man..I hate ATI...! Had only trouble with it.

    So dont boder me monkey.

  • Who said i have this gt300 card...!

    I havent said it...

So if you little monkey think 50 Fps is Wow! Think again monkey..!

Go home..I dont play with kindergarten kids..! Hush go away, U boder me!

  • This is not a game, it's for supercomputing. Something similar to emulate climate changes, big bang and more.

  • wow TheoryReviewGuy is officially retarded.

if you really think a run of the mill ati radeon 4650 can keep up with a GT300 series your insane. like seriously you should just toss your computer out the window, you don't deserve one.

if the gt300 is getting 18fps on double precision i bet the ati card would burst into flames upon start up.

no way in hell a radeon 4650 will ever get 32 fps more than a future architecture fermi graphics processing unit. EVER.

  • its comparing it to a Tesla graphics card. That model of ati card would most likely not even be able to open that app

  • Wow... seriously are you an idiot? Its running a simulating, thats why it cant get over 18fps. Just try running the same simulation with you gpu.

And just look on the specs for you gpu and the Fermi... yes its an insane difference.

  • GTX295+tesla heat sink

  • they have 6 gb ddr5 memory lol

  • Nvidia: "This is Fermi"

    Joe Wilson: "YOU LIE!"

  • It's time to see it from a different perspective.

CPU merely holds the roles of IO, OS and Drivers

while the GPGPU takes over the role as the central part that brings the raw computing power.

Time for a new designation for this kind of hardware:

    GPPU: General Purpose Processing Unit.

  • It'll be interesting to see if Fermi will allow simultaneous compute and upload/offload operations so that fragments and new data can be transferred during GPU processing.
