I liked the reading. It was sarcasim which is a great way of breaking up the rythm of the lines so you may slow them down for modern ears. Not an easy task. I must agree with Prycik that the head movement is distracting. You have an expressive face. Let your eyes do the work. Keep them coming! Anyone who loves Shakespeare is cool to me.

The head shaking doesn't work. Also, did you read the play first? The speech is meant to be comic/ironic. If you want to make it depressing, great, but you need to find a reason to say it.

I personally believe the main reason why As You Like It is unpopular is because it includes a story line of a character who is confused of gender

& that is shunned in most societies both in the past & in modern times
