Are scrapers really required? When I served in the Marines, we never used anything that would scrape. The bore brush was about as abrasive as it got. We also used CLP a toothbrush, q-tips, and tobacco pipe cleaners (a long thin wire with a cotton material around it). We put lots of rounds through our Colt m16 A2's, and never required to scrape the bolt carrier.Although We cleaned them after every use and then some.....
@gmako74 The scraper is FAR more useful that you would ever dream it would be. and it should be pointed out that while these tools are designed for AR/M16 they work great on other weapons. I used the scraper on a 1911 extractor the other day and it worked wonders for carbon I didn't know was there. the tool steel is softer than the AR carrier so its not an issue, and works very well on the bolt. and carbon buildup. The tools and feature ideas come from troops on the battle field (currently).
Marvelous for the Multitasker TUBE AR-15 tool.

I'd add a short rod and a chamber brush for the AR15. I don't think that the Otis has that rod...?
Nice tool.

@coolstuffaddict should have mentioned that the GI cleaning kit (rods) fit on there too

Nice tool kit. With all the different bits it has a lot more uses than just the AR.
