Oh yeah...ARP is VERY good, but, man, do you really thought that he is better than Blackmore, Malmsteen, ETC? He's just another guitarplayer, with good-hearing songs, but YM and RB is truly MASTERS! They creat a new genres in music, they became as a part of mucical history...

He and his brother had a band when they were teenagers called Phaze and their guitarist and bassist left their band and joined mine. Johnny originally played mostly drums in their band but he also played guitar and sang. That was way back in the 70's! Man I feel old!

True,he is a great guitarist. Few guitarists does such good solos with that feeling,he has been working with for instance Scorpions,and they know what they do,he has also won the award platina a couple of times.
And this is among the greatest band,they are very talented and not to talk about the singer who got an amazing voice which makes you shiver.
I thought Freddy was the best singer ever until I heard Johnny. They sound similar, but Johnny has that raspy sound, so personally I think he's a bit better.

I know, the feeling, ala Gilmour, but his pitch is always off on his bends, and he does this really amatuer lick, in every song, and his vibrato is all wrong. Now don't get me wrong, he is very popular and has worked with some great talents, I just don't think is as talented as people make him out to be.
