Prostitution is a decent profession in and of itself, the fact that it is illegal is the reason that it is viewed as seedy. If it were legalized, it could be managed, with the girls seeing a doctor regularly and having the option to reject customers on grounds of uncleanliness or refusal to wear a condom. If a person can make a living playing pointless games, they ought to be able to do so prostituting.
