One of the Queen's hardest jams like "Bite This". Now a doctor; go ahead girl. My field is also psychology. No female rapper even comes close to Roxanne Shante. I remember going to house parties back in the 80's with beat-box competitions, boom boxes and fly girls everywhere. We would jam to Roxanne Shante and the Juice Crew all night long. Her jam "Big Mama" ate 'em all up. Whodini, Steady B, Doug E. Fresh and Schoolly D were rockin it back then too. Anyone know whatever happened to MC Poet?

See how that rap money paid off? Go Shante! Shout out to MC Lyte! Funny enough, Shante & Lyte never clashed back then. Lyte had her long battle w/ Antoinette. That was a classic long battle. We had it REAL GOOD in the rap world back in the 80's.

thanx for the props. shante' was a pioneer. if she was active today,she'd eat up today's competition male and female! much of today's mainstream hip hop is garbage and about 40% of the underground scene is not as hot as it used to be.
