Someone made a comment in a Sebastian Cloutier video about his using a Yamaha Pacifica. Just so they know, they come in different tones and colors, and they can sound as amazing as you want them to. Way to make it sing, Tom.

@112358miau when thinking about modern harmony, you treat melodic minor as a scale with 1 2 b3 4 5 6 7 both asceding and descending.

Ah ok - it is Eb flat mixed with Eb Melodic Minor. Only 1 note change so you master it from this method. Later you use it on Ab in key G Major as a transition from chord I-IV.

His choices of notes playing 'over' chords is superb. A melodic sound as opposed to many shredders who create too much tension and don't resolve the flow enough.

honestly, i think tom is my new favorite. I've always been a scofield. guy. I like Holdsworth and Gambale, but their music is so cheesy. But Tom is just so real. I wish I could play like that. : \ Honestly i like this style of playing way better than Govan. Hutchings is the shit. But TQ he's something else. plays beautifully and can shred your face off. AND he knows what he's doing. Just awesome.

First time I've ever seen him, I prefer Alex Hutchings but only marginally and probably because the Hutchings videos I've seen were of higher quality. Regardless, such an exceptionallllll guitarist.
