No, I was referring to the movie, which is considerably different than the book, I'm sure you would agree.

I was disappointed that the movie omitted the dialog between Saurman and Gandalf when Gandalf was about to be imprisoned at Isengard. The action scene that replaced it left out far too much of the back store about the growing darkness that obscured and clouded the vision of those who should have been against the ring and its power.

Still, the Gollum scenes were well done.
