They need more "pro-homosexual" commercials in America. I hate all of the homophobia! Thankfully, I have friends that aren't homophobic, but I also have coworkers that I'm kinda scared to come out to because of their strong hatred towards gays. Not that they need to know I'm bisexual, but it would make me feel more comfortable instead of watching everything I say and do. I'm not effeminate, but I do have a little bit of a feminine side and I hate it when I have to hide it.

@maxitaxi98 If your friend won't accept you for who you are, then that's his problem, not yours. I'm transgender myself and I've had to deal with my share of homophobia. Be strong and don't kill yourself, because you have a long life ahead of you and you should be able to live it without persecution. Being gay doesn't mean you should be treated any different from before. Never let anyone, even your best friend, tell you otherwise. Hope I could help you. :)

This advert serves nothing other than to highlight differences in peoples sexual identities. Since when does a person have to difference themselves from a member of their species in order to effectively place themselves in categories. I do not believe this was a the right move. It panders to the stereotypical notions people have over sexual identity and re-inforces the idea that labelling is the right thing to do. Badly thought out and badly executed.

This is the right way to combat homophobic bullying. The wrong way is to show kids dramatic depictions of bullying victims committing suicide to get revenge on the bullies. We should be giving victims hope for a better future, and trust me it does get better. This is so much more inspiring than videos which indirectly promote suicide as a way of getting back at society. If you are being bullied know that there are many other people out there just like you and we love you. It gets better.
