  • i hVE ONE THEY ARE SUPA DOOPA INTELLIGENT. AND CUTE AS PUPPIES

  • Hi all, I'm probably going to get a Bouvier for my first dog that'll be my own (have had experience with dogs growing up). I am wondering, however, if any of you know how much they would enjoy going on day hikes? The most I've ever hiked was 20 miles, though usually it's around 10. Also, how well do these dogs hold up in the heat? Thanks for your input!

  • @81166

Your Bouvier will absolutely LOVE a hike, maybe start smaller and build your dog up to the 20 miles however.

Also I don't know what kind of hikes you are going on, but I have had two bouviers, and tried to summit mountains with them and they both refused to go on once we got into alpline terrain.

And, they do not hold up too well in the heat unless you get their hair cut real real short, and bring a ton of water.

    Hope Ive helped, happy trails.

  • eggs and beer....hhhmmmm. sounds good.........

  • gime him some already. he asked for it...wee weee....

  • He is amazing!!!Congrats!!

  • these dogs are highly intelligent, I've owned two, they love to work, so why have you docked its ears? there really is no need, never done it with mine, never will.

  • OMG.. it's a bad idea to bring a bottle for her tooth :(

  • Damn, how did you train it not to bite down hard enough to break the egg?

  • bouviers is great i have one self its verry nice

  • What a sweet bouvier! You are so loving with him. Great family!

  • that is very cool.. how did you learn to train him? because i very much want a bouvier, and i know that he is way happier being treated this way, and being taught things, rather then just being a dumb dog.

such a nice dog. thanks for the video.

  • I have three bouvs and they are the best dogs. So loyal and loving.

  • These dogs are awsome!!! I used to have a black one and his name was Jake. He died of Bone Cancer. But then like a week later a puppy was born and he is now my new dog and is just as perfect as the last. (just a little stupider). We believe Jake died for a reason. So we could give this puppy a loving home. His name is Mik and he will turn 2 on May 30th 2008.

These dogs are awsome!! They have EXCELLENT tempermants, protective and are really smart!! Mine is just the exception. XP

  • love your dog, i got 6 bouviers myself they are all differant always se the gears working, bouviers are the only dog for me

  • Very nice!

  • What a grand and fetching Utah. Is she still alive ? My 5-year old Bouv owns me, not the other way round.

  • Utah will be 12 in March, 2008- She is still

the same, healthy, happy and doing all kind of things

  • Looks like a very young Bouvier!

  • lol, you can see the Yorkshire terrier thinking: "how the hell does he do that???"
