I bought a £70 acoustic guitar that was end of stock, only thing wrong with it was that the machine-heads were on wonky other than that it sounds better than any guitar sub £1000 ive ever heard....needs setting up though, it plays fine but I lost my allen keys so i haven't had a chance to properly set it up.
I do agree although i have also just bought an ibanez rg550 that has literally been set up perfectly, i had to contact the guy to grab the techs details, hes now the only tech i will use.

I wanted a shitty cheap acoustic to play around with and take places so I bought an epiphone made in japan on ebay for 100 bucks and it kinda surprised me being that it was solid wood throughout, don't get me wrong its still crappy, but its a hell of a lot more fun then any yamaha, dean, samick, or other shit brand

The owner bougt it and lost interest,never played it and sentensed it to live in the closet. What do you think of the Canadian Larrivees ? This thing sounds like angels singing,especially for a cheap entry level piece. It was gonna be a beater , but I like it too much. Great action and plays easy too

That's just like the one I wrote you about last week (cept mine was a flame maple top). same problem. I took it back and they traded me another one and it seems to be stable. (probably belongs in a stable!) The frets were good when I brought it home... 3 days later it turned into a bow and arrow....I'll keep an eye on the one I have and keep it humidified properly. I think it's to do with that oblong hole in the top....or bracing. Funny you would come up with one, the same!
man ebay, always scary, sellers are usually super vague in their descriptions and you must ask questions about every imaginable thing that might be wrong with it so you get a concrete yes or no. last time i bought i forgot to ask "Has it been around a smoker" everything else was great with the guitar! but it had a smoker smell. had to spend months being treated with ozone and get polished up to remove the smell.
rare and vintage guitars you usually just find on the bay', with that risk...

Just don't buy it from ebay. it maybe little cheaper but u may get irregular one.
