Ive got the 406 coupe on a 51 plate 2.2hdi SE ive had it now for about 4 years been a great car never steps out of line and loves to be thrashed ... why cant my women be like that ,

its got 145k on the clock is in blue and has never had any engine mods what so ever, with it being a 145k motor there are a couple of dings on it nothing major , ive been looking at what can be done to it and the list is endless as it always is, i'm lucky as well as its the SE its got everything on it, was thinking to myself i might just keep it till it clocks 200k :-)

@BUSTINMOVER1 Trust me fella, you won't regret visiting 406oc.co.uk for detailed instructions on how to remove the fap (In Knowledge based articles I think it was) and get the remap done. Engine feels much more torquey and responsive and the fuel economy has improved as well. Check it out :)

@BUSTINMOVER1 3rd and 4th become so bloody relentless after the remap it's a joke! And 50mpg on a m/way run is easy as well as you can shift up earlier due to the extra torque throughout the range. Throttle response seems a bit better as well.

just had a look at a couple of sites they advise that with the remap the clutch can suffer due to the new figures and is wise to uprate to

@BUSTINMOVER1 Not had an issue with the DMF or the clutch at 140k, 7k after the remap. A guy on the forums is at 170k after around 10k I think and its all good, not changed clutch once. Just hold it on the handbrake on hills :L
