SWG-PRE CU IS BACK. Dont worry friends the SWGEMU will be out soon within a year. This is a real pre-cu server that has been in the works since that fatefull day november 15th. The server is in testing phases and it is quite populated.. but can always use more people.
I've only just come across this game, and I do not know what it was like before the "changes" and i've read what assholes Sony are. But I do like the whole space battles with my brother. And theres the "Complete online saga" for £11? which is cheap! But I read a comment about Sony possibly ending the game. I dont want to loose money or hard work progress?
@Rampagedd If you can get hold of the original game disks, you will be able to play it for free if you install the EMU. go to swgemu(dot)com to check it out.
I arrived in 2008, so I never saw this. :( Looked like better then modern SWG (I got a virus and lost my game, when I find my admin acct password, im buying a new game disc, and reactivating my lv70 (Me and my friends spend the majority of our time building my ub3r house)
I played like about 10 months of Pre-CU :3 Mostly grew up with the CU o.o CU is where I "almost" became a Jedi with a year of hard work put in, but the NGE smashed my work in the head with a Power Hammer -.- Anyways, AMAZING vid of PvP :D
I was in this battle... rolled up, saw the AT's, got out my Saber... then next frame there were 25 people standing on my corpse... and my comp crashed. Not as bad as that battle on Talus that crashed the server though.
dont pay for this anymore... theyre taking the servers down in december 2012 anyways

One thing I loved about swg was that there were no ''Levels'' I liked the idea of grinding for bars to get the next proffession rank.

My uncle ( Weasel, Bloodfin) crashed the server twice from just plain pvp events, all he did was drop 2 bases and watch the fun :3

I miss battles like this =/ And i liked CU pvp a lot more than preCU pvp actually but that's just my opinion heh
