@Llynok That has nothing to do with anything. Martin Luther King Jr., Gandhi, and Mother Teresa impacted the world in wonderfully positive ways and left an indelible mark on our society, and they were all theists.
@LordAdib Mother Teresa was not a theist, and moreover was an awful person. Point is, living your life without a cosmic dictatorship makes a great place to draw inspiration from.
Holy. Sh*t. I am LOST, I am miserable, I am depressed, and I wish I was free to act on my own accord, I wish I could free myself from this system I am trapped within. But for a brief three minutes and thirty-six seconds, I forgot about it all. And that is the power of art. I don't know why I felt compelled to share this (the human condition, perhaps, or even my own insecurities), but I did. And I feel others feel the same. Just know that you are not alone, we are in it together. Act accordingly.
I just watched this series (for the hundredth time) in the perfect setting: in my dark, quiet room while my home mates are asleep. This b/w series in the pitch dark is quite memorable. Anis is superb. SUPERB, I SAY!!
I have a cousin named Quentin. This poem reminds me of him: A troubled, angry and impatient boy. I wanna tell him, "Slow down, Quentin. Slow down, Quentin... You don't have to touch and go... Slow down and hold what you see just a little while longer..." This is beautiful and inspiring. In a world of shallow people and hasty times, Anis is a person of depth and a voice of patience. Slow down today, and every day. Take time to experience life, and never lose the little kid inside.
we read/analyzed this in Advanced Language Arts 9 and have to compare this to The Great Gatsby and Romeo and Juliet for our final exam. This is also our student teacher's favorite poem
I think it is a pretty good poem
My favorite part is, "Slow down, Quinton, slow down, Quinton."

Think about the tiny amount of greatness more he could achieve if he didn't believe in a god.

This is actually beautiful. By far my favourite performance of him. The black and white emphasizes his poems so much more. It's beautiful.
