Im pretty certain Trent cant use those shuriken. In Texas they are illegal to carry even under a concealed weapons permit. But can anyone tell me if he's allowed to own them, just keep them in their box? Could he own them under a martial arts instructor permit or something? And where the heck did Walker get them if the ARE illegal to possess? I just... think it's a HUGE discrepancy to allow even in a TV show, especially since this show tries to be "realistic" in its fight scenes.

Wanted to add another thing; shooting somebody who's holding a hostage isn't always as easy as it looks. If you're off by the smallest measurement, you could end up killing the hostage which wouldn't be too good for you as a cop. Now, Walker on the other hand could have done it because Walker can do anything. (as the show demonstrated). It's not always something you CAN do in a situation like that.
