hi all. Im 28 years old and I never surfed in my life but I want to start
1- is it too late?
2- Can I surf just with all info at youtube ?
3- What should be the dimensions of the board and sail ( Im 180cm tall ( 5'11" ) and I have ocean with lots of windsurfers with so nice wind and I want a fast surf so which one should I choose???
I dont know much about new zealand so are there mountains to ski or snowboard on in the winter? I snowboard in colorado at a place about hundred miles from where i live. I am goin surfin tommoroow because it wasnt windy today:(
i dont think that u know about windsurfing and if u started at age 8 and now your 13 and u say that ur a bigginer then u suck. dude ive been 5 months windsurfing and now i know everything that i need.
i would say ur doin pretty good. i dont have much room to windsurf in the lake i go to and i ma a beginner so its hard cuz beginners need alot of room somtimes. i should get good by the time im 20 though cuz i started when i was about eight. now im 13.
yeah. the lake i surf on is an irigation pond and it is odly shaped so it cane be hard to surf. I am going to go to a big reservoir so i can learn. i have my own boards and own sails. But only cuz my dad gave me them. he used to be big on windsurfing. now hes old and it messes up his back to surf so he tought me how to surf from shore.

Oh yea Ive sailed in snow just not windsurfed lol
The winds are better in summer here any way and I only got a 3/4 lenght wetsuite

How much you get to sail really depends on how good you are!
I only sailed a bout a week in light winds before that video was taken.
It was another year before i got my own board and sail so then I could sail every weekend.
Cant wait till summer comes back and I can get back on the water.

Nah I live in Otago, New Zealand.... Its just about snowing today and way to cold to go windsurfing
