A person does not need hatred or any kind of phobia in order to acknowledge important differences between heterosexuality and homosexuality. Even non-religious people know this.
The homosexual agenda is not good for anyone, including those who consider themselves "gay".
Homosexual activists, with support from the media, have successfully framed themselves as noble victims; it's an effective way to push a social agenda.
I do not use the word gay or lesbian or even homosexual to define someone with those tendencies. We are all, in fine, children of our maker and as human beings, we fall subject to various behaviors.
I wouldn't sooner call someone a "Drunk" or a "Smoker" if I felt it would hurt their feelings but homosexuals would prefer that we do. I do not consider gay a "noun" or a "title." They behave in a homosexual manner making this practice a VERB not a Noun.

There's nothing to overcome, only ACCEPT. Anyone that cannot accept their innate orientation is truly lying to themselves, society and their opposite sex partner. EVERYONE loses, in that case. The Catholic church actually gets it right. They say sexual orientation is INNATE, and IMMUTABLE, and that homosexuals must live in celibacy. This notion that someone can change their orientatition is DEAD wrong. So many people have suffered in the name of Jesus. Sad, indeed!
Everyone on the planet struggle with his or her sexuality. Everyone has to overcome all kind of temptations. Homosexuality is a spiritual issue first and foremost. People face all kind of disorientations.

There are testimonies of people who have liberated themselves from the homosexual curse. Most of them do not want to be public because they feel shame and want to move on with their life. I am always amazed how many homosexuals are so hateful and vicious toward ex-gays. It says a lot.

EVERY mental health organization says it's not possible to change your orientation, and I believe that. Voteyesonquestion1, there's nothing to be liberated from. If you think that homosexuality can be 'cured,' then you must also acknowledge that heterosexuality can be 'cured.' It's sort of like left handedness verses right handedness. I guess in YOUR narrow view of the world there is only one "correct" handedness, and that's right handed, correct? So, all left handers should "change" to fit in with your ideal! WRONG!
There is one thing I'd like to be liberated from. It will take years and years of therapy to get all the Jesus out of my system. I was brainwashed in Jesus from birth until I left home at 18. I was forced to go to church three times a week. But, the religious abuse I suffered as a child has remained as a terrible memory. No child should be raised in such an environment which doesn't tolerate other religious beliefs. It is WRONG... My parents know how I feel about this...

Do you know the number ONE reason gay people seek help from mental health professionals? It's NOT a desire to change their orientation, rather its that they can't deal with the religously based prejudice that exists in American society. This is true. There has been so much FALSE information out there, such as that sexual orientation is something we can "choose" or "change." Is it any wonder a gay person would want to commit suicide? Most gay people I know are perfectly happy as they are.
And, IF sexual orientation WERE a chocie, I would definitely choose to be gay again. It has enriched my life beyond measure. I've had a far better life because I'm gay. Gays earn more money per capita, we have more education, we travel more and I now live in a large city, whereas I might have been trapped in suburban Midwestern hell if I had not been gay. Thank JESUS I'm gay!
