Had to do a hw assignment and we had to draw a picture of something we read in our Lit book. Our story was on a horse and a boy so this helped a bunch since I couldn't draw if my life depended on it :/ Thanks a bunch! :)

This video covers the basics for people who have a hard time knowing where everything goes. It's easy to follow, the use of a computer makes for crisper, cleaner lines. If one were to further their skills they should consult an art book or look for other videos in their favour. Personally, no art book is going to make you an artist, experimenting in different styles and practicing will. Just mess around on a scrap piece of paper, you don't always have to follow the rules. Go crazy! :P

How is anyone going to be helped if you don't allow "mean" (I assume you take any criticism as "mean") comments?

It looks like a diagram taken from an art book. Not a good art book. There are other books out there, like Walter Foster's on drawing horses, that's not bad, but there is no artistry in this demonstration - it's something made by a machine. Hind legs would not work if it was a real horse - no anatomy study at all.

You have your way of doing stuff, I have mine, and actually, if it took you 2 hours, there's something wrong with you. It takes me less than 2 minutes and I don't draw like this anymore because I've adapted it. Plenty of people have found this helpful as a starting point, which is what the video was made for.

As I said, it's only a rough guide. It wasn't meant to be good, it was only meant to help people start out. My artwork doesn't look anything like the basic frame shown in this video.
