This is excellent! Really well shot, some great cinematography! I especially loved the shots at 3:29 and 4:21-4:27. Really good twist as well! I look forward to more films :)
Aaron. You and your team did an excellent job of keeping interested in the story and kept me guesting on why the KEY was so important that it took me on your adventure. I love the background transitioning from mountain to city scene selections you chose (sundance to downtown provo). It worked! best of all your lighting and camera angles gave me the best seats in the house. I look forward to seeing more from you and your crew. Designer Chef
Thanks Chef! If Aaron was able to reply I know he'd be really glad to hear that! We always love to get feedback on our films. I'm Taylor by the way, I did cinematography on this. Check out my channel for more videos if you like my work!
@ThisDudeThatGuy Hey man, I'm glad you liked the cinematography! I did most of the filming on this, be sure to check out my channel if you like my work!
why was the camera man at the beginning sitting in a boat? the rocking pattern was to consistent from shot to shot I actually started to get motion sickness. great look though.
This is an awesome accomplishment. Really nice work, seriously. Can't wait to see more from you but I guess I will have to wait 2 years ;-) Good luck on your mission.
This was rad! I would also love to do something with you anytime! You and your friends have a lot of skill. Also, I think you should put links to all of their channels in the description because I was to sub to all of them.
@m00tmike Hey, thanks so much Mike! And there's actually links at the end of the video to their channels! :) And I'd love to do something with you too! But I'm leaving in about 3 hours to the MTC. So maybe we can do something in two years? haha
@aaronhintondotcom HA! That is more awesome!! Good job man. I guess this is the ultimate cliff hanger huh? Well enjoy your mission. It will be great/scary/horrible/fun/awesome/and just about every other emotion all at the same time.
Aaron I am so proud of you and this film. I have gotten the pleasure to watch you become a really talented director/editor/etc. You can do it all, and you have an eye for quality design which makes you leap years ahead of what your competition at school will be. Congrats on your mission, come back soon.
Bro, this was freaking incredible. Excellent cinematography, pretty decent acting. Not amazing, but better than most indie shorts, incredible editing, the story itself was just awesome.
The action and suspense of the whole thing was very well done as well.
@aaronhintondotcom I wish we lived in the same area and could collaborate! Welp, I had to look up "Clavis" after watching this and was disappointed to find it wasn't a word. ;(
@AestheticCreations Yeah man! It would be way nice to collaborate! It's always fun to work with others who are actually interested in film as much as I am. Maybe when we're older and can afford to travel, haha. And actually, "Clavis" is a word. Just not in English. It's "key" in Latin. :)
@aaronhintondotcom I agree. :) And oh okay, that makes this video even cooler!!! Haha. ;) Anyways, sidenote: noticed you changed the thumbnail...? I liked the other one more. ;)
6:39 my favorite!
